Summary
One week.
Private beach.
Invisible girl.
Jerk-faced bully.
What’s the worst that could happen?
Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerk-face bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.
Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and his family’s billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.
When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?
This is the bundled version of the Elements of Chemistry trilogy and includes parts one through three (Attraction, Heat, and Capture).

So Amazing
I love a long burn love story. Katelyn is so intelligent and mature but SO naive about so many other things. However , because of her intelligence and resolve, we see and grow alongside her through the story's challenges and her metamorphosis into an independent young woman. Martin is a brilliant, interesting, beautiful, sexy, damaged protagonist. The writing is amazing, another 5⭐ for Penny Reid and narrator Fiona Fischer. Only thing I'd request is more time between transitions to next parts, after story content, and the next book preview. The quick starts threw me and didn't allow me to appreciate the previous ending. However, that's so tiny compared to the awesomeness. Thanks for selling this as a set!

So good
I love Penny Reid. At first I almost returned this title because of the age of the characters. Young college kids I thought was too young for me to get interested in As a 44 year old mother. I’m so so glad I kept listening. The character development was amazing. I loved it

BAM another treasure
I don’t know how Penny does it but BAM another great book I loved it! I only wish her characters were a little older I’ve never known a 19 year old this grounded even with parents like hers but I’m probably being petty as I fell in love with Parker and Martin.

Overall good
I have to admit, this was a bit of a struggle for me. I have loved all of the Penny Reid books I've read, but so far, this is my least favorite. You know how you yell at the person in the movie to stop; don't go into the scary house? Well, that was this book 85% of the time. Except it was COMMUNICATE ALREADY!!!

Great Character Development
Author, Penny Reid’s characters came to life in this book. There wasn’t a twist in the plot but I kept second guessing myself as to whether the hero was sincere or not. I did wish the clueless heroine would have some common sense and realization. The story was engaging and made me feel like I really knew the characters.
The narrator made for easy listening, but there were a few moments when I didn’t realize if it was supposed to be a male or female voice. I really wish there were both a male and female narrator. Overall, the one credit was not wasted and it was well worth the 19 hours of lessening. It kept giving more of what was wanted.

Juvenil Love
The narration and story are well written to keep you in suspense. I feels it drags a little on the 3rd part. I still liked the build up LOL. Cute young love.

Loved narration & author but…
Penny Reid does an excellent job of creating characters you love, and the narrator is the best I’ve heard. This book was split into three parts, the first was great, the second was okay, the third was all angst and cluelessness. I skipped through most of the long inner monologue just to get to the end.
