Summary
She wants his story. He wants his secrecy. Too bad he can’t stay away from her.
Molly
Blogging about bad dates used to be fun, but a girl can only take so much foolishness. So I broke up with my job.
Okay, full disclosure, I was fired. It’s a long, sordid tale, involving my sourdough starter - RIP, Fred! - and my ex-boss’ serious lack of humor.
Newly funemployed and in need of a break, I go to Asheville to dogsit for my sister…and stumble onto a scoop big enough to put my fake-dating days behind me forever.
Augusta Glower, local success story, wrote a bestseller about the self-help group she started. People think her system works, and copycat Bad Luck Clubs have sprung up nationwide. Something feels off, though, and a little poking around by yours truly suggests she stole the idea.
There’s one problem. I have to prove it, and the guy she ripped off - super-hot house flipper Caleb Reynolds - seems to…well, hate me. Which is too bad since his secrets aren’t the only thing I’d like to peel away.
Cal
Molly O’Shea is my worst nightmare.
Is she sexy as sin? Well…yeah. Does she smell like honeysuckle and trouble? No doubt. Is she determined to dig up my secrets with a backhoe? I’m pretty sure she got a two-week rental. But I’ll never talk. If the reason I started the club gets out, my whole life will implode.
So why is she so damn irresistible?

I Loved every minute of listening to this book.
It held my attention throughout the story as the mystery of the Bad Luck Club was revealed.
I Loved Molly and Cal ! And let me tell you Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley are all kinds of Amazing with Their narrations. The diversity of their voices when doing different Characters is just incredible...I think I fell in Love with Chris and his laugh..
Denise Grover Swank and A.R. Casella have written such a smart, sexy, romantic and emotional Story, about Love ,forgiveness and justice.

so slow ..
I purchased this book because of the narrators. I love Chris Brinkley and Joy Nash in the Winston brothers series. In this book however, Joy does not have her southern accent (even though characters are from North Carolina- where I live so yes accents should be thick!) she sounded like Shelly from the Winston brothers series. so for me the voice didn't fit the story.
As far as the story goes. it could have been better if a lot of the filler portions of the story were cut out. it seemed to drag on. I don't think I will be listening to the rest of the series unless they become part of the included picks on Audible.

New Series
The Bad Luck Club is a spinoff of the Ashville Brewing Series with a few people showing up in this book, but you can read this one as a stand alone without feeling lost. Molly and Cal meet when she's dogsitting for her sister and decides to find out about the Bad Luck Club. Cal is one of the founders but he doesn't want the information out because he has a secret that he has only told one other person. Molly has a secret, too. Can these two people work out in spite of their secrets or will it tear them apart? I liked this book and I'm looking forward to more like it. Chris Brinkley and Joy Nash bring Cal and Molly to life.

Meh
—too many detailed sex scenes , gets old and boring
—boring storyline
—female narrator has a good male voice but annoying female voice
—male narrator has a slightly annoying male voice
—ok but far from the best audible book I’ve read in its genre

Enemies to lovers romcom!
This was a fun listen for me. It had me chuckling at the crazy things that happened. Molly and Cal are the perfect match for each other. I loved how Molly was able to meet up with the Bad Luck Club gang so I was beyond excited to see Harry. He’s my fave!!
The story is so sweet and the secrets are so sad. This book gave me so many emotions, and the steamy scenes were great. I enjoyed the duo POV and I was overjoyed to find out that the audiobook had two narrators as well. Joy and Chris were great and kept me engaged to the story they were telling. Great voices for Cal and Molly. If you’re a fan of enemies to lovers, then consider this romcom. You’re in for a treat!

Just Ok
The book was OK, typical ending. But I just didn’t like the male characters voice. The narrator for the woman’s voice was good but whoever was narrating the main character male voice sounded too feminine for this masculine character.

Great story
This may be my first book by this writing duo A.R. Casella & Denise Grover-Swank but it will not be my last. From the first chapter I was hooked on the story these authors wove and had no idea who wrote what or where one finished and the other took over; such was their seamlessness of their storytelling.
When I read the blurb for this book I was intrigued and knowing that this was book one in a new series I jumped at the opportunity to read and review. I fell hard and fast for Caleb (Cal) Reynolds and Molly O’Shea who the authors brought to life for me; they were easy to relate to and I rally liked them.
The narration by Joy Nash was spot on. Her voice was easy to listen to and she brought the story to life for me.
Although a Romcom, there is also more to this story than just fun and romance. There were moments where, sadness, pain and guilt were palpable and I was moved to tears. However the authors counted this with humour, love and romance, of learning to love and trust again and to heal.
Love At First Hate is a well written story that will draw you in hook, line and sinker; a little gem that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Amazing story
This book was truly amazing. Once again they outdone themselves. I can hardly wait to ready the next book in line. A true love story with a few twist to keep you on your toes. If you enjoyed the other books by them you will definitely enjoy this one.

made it to chapter 5
Lured in by the reviews, I kept telling myself it would get better. It did not. Made it to chapter 5 and that was being generous. I really wanted to like this book as I was a big fan of the Rose Gardner series. Disappointed.
