Two books to strengthen your backbone
First book is about the introvert while second is about being able to realize that your voice needs to be heard with focus on avoiding the bullies that attempt to make you doubt yourself. Although I am a natural introvert, I had been able to overcome the normal pitfalls and utilize its strengths of that mindset to lead that other would consider a successful life. As the book point out, being an introvert or extrovert is not a determining factor in being successful. Each has its strength & weakness. I found Ch #5 suggestions helpful on how to make small talk since that is a skill that I could definitely improve upon.
Book #2, about standing your ground was my favorite. Today , we are being bullied 24-7 by social forces within our culture. In today’s WOKE Culture of intolerance, political correctness and peer pressure to be mindless, non-thinking mouth pieces for one mind thinking, developing a positive self-image and self esteem is more important then even. The individual and one’s ability to freely choice the principals that will guide one’s life is under constant attack. Society has reached the breaking point where free speech is censored and anyone that dares express an opposing view point is labeled as evil to be punished, imprisoned and executed. Ideas are not debated but rather shouted down and deemed to be subversive to be blotted out.
Since our educational system goal is now to teach young people what to think instead of how to think, if individual freedom is to survive then one must develop the backbone to stand against the intolerance of the mindless mob that no longer has the ability to think for themselves.

Pushover no more
Honestly, over the first 20+ years of my life, I was called a pushover one too many times. Unfortunately, a lot of people mistake being nice for having weak boundaries which they will attempt to step over every chance they get. As a child and teenager, I suffered with social anxiety, and I really wish I'd come across this gorgeous book earlier in life, back when I needed the support to build my inner strength and find ways to be more assertive. So glad I took a chance and had a listen.

Improving Your Confidence!
I found this audiobook to be quite interesting and insightful. It has incredible real-life stories of how teens and young adults go through social anxiety and low self-esteem and overcomes them. This audiobook gives me a glimpse of what my son is experiencing as an introvert and how to help him through this time in his life.
Chapter 4 was my favorite- (Be your own Best backup). It encourages you to be self-reliant, believe in yourself, and work on your feelings. It also guides you to make good decisions, to prioritize, and choose the path that makes you happy.

A Great Resource
In Your Powerzone proved to be more than I anticipated. The author does a great job of laying out easy-to-follow, simple-to-follow tools, and resources for teenagers to implement. The author also seems to understand the complexities of the teenager and the emotional upheaval they face.

Elevate Yourself
"In your Powerzone" is a great motivator for teens or anyone going through the struggles of self-esteem issues and alienation by society, and it provides great guidance to work through these issues to feel more confident by removing negativity, strengthening your mindset, and overcoming fears.
Book 2 provides good approaches to making the change, breaking cycles, gaining self-confidence and self-love, and standing your ground in social situations.
I liked Genesis Renji's narration.

Make progress everyday by taking small steps
Being a teenager can be overwhelming. This audiobook outlines positive and manageable steps to help guide young people to gain valuable social skills. This is also an excellent resource for adults. I liked that the book outlined how everybody should understand that setting boundaries and saying no is ok. As the audiobook progresses, the foundations are laid to build self-confidence through practical exercises. The audiobook came with a pdf you could print and make notes on.

Great Resource and Insight
