A good resource

If you've ever seen how your teen interacts with their friends and thought they could use some assertiveness, I think this is a good book to run to. It will equip them with skills like how to speak their mind in friendships and dating, how to talk to everyone and how to set boundaries. It is a sort of crash course for those major life skills we are still learning. I was even able to get some take-homes for myself. That's how good this book is.

Thriving in high school and beyond!

High school can be one of the hardest and most confusing times in a child's life. At that age we are on mission of self discovery and trying to find out just who we are. This audiobook was amazing as it really covers everything that you need to know in order to not only survive high school, but to thrive.

The chapters on setting your own rules and talking to friends and teachers are a major confidence booster, particularly if you find these interactions difficult. What I Iove is also how the book deals with family, dating and work situations so effectively as well. These are vital parts of growing up so was very impressed to see them covered in so much detail.

The Author really instils a sense of confidence and optimism into the book and this makes it a must listen to! My niece has just started high school or secondary school as we call it in the UK so i'll be making sure she listens to this from start to finish. Great job!

The narrator was easy to follow, and the content was organized in a way that made it easy to understand and digest. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a high schooler experiencing anxiety about social life.
