Brilliant Sequel
Fae Captive is an amazing continuation of Allie and Scourvel’s tale.
Scourvel and his antihero ways have definitely worked their way into my heart.
I love the secret bond that forms between Allie and Scourvel. Even though neither of them really acknowledges it, it’s there.
I loved the twists and turns in their adventure.
The ending left me a little worried but also craving more. I can’t wait to embark on the next segment of their journey with them.

Fae captive
This is book two in the series. This book leads of from the where Allie Hunter had entered the fae world to try free her father and sister and finding things not quite right she became trapped by Scouvrel. Things are darker in the fae world and Allie needs to rely on Scouvrel who is a tricky fae but her only friend with his own agenda's. It is a good story and I enjoyed listening to it and looking forward to the next one.

Better than expected
It's a quick listen, and pretty good for a second in series. Once again there was nonstop action and the cliffhanger makes you glad the next book is out. I would have loved some slower-downtime scenes in a few spots. I honestly don't know how the characters function after a few hours when they never seem to sleep or eat for days and days. The narrator does an amazing job bringing the characters to life.

Why 5 books
Nice story, enjoyed all 4 books so far but they feel chopped off to make more books which is a bit annoyed

A wicked world
This is not your typical fairy tale . This book is full of deception , betrayal , and angst . I personally wish there was a more romantic aspect here but I can understand the lack thereof also . I can't wait for the rest to come to Audible because the narration is fantastic . I have purchased quite a few of kelly's works lately and she is a new to me narrator .

Fae Captive
One thing I love about this series is that the fae are not like they are portrayed in other books. They are wicked, vicious, and their appearance can be deceiving. Because of those things, I didn't think I would enjoy this story. I also didn't think I would love it because I love books that have some romance in them. Well, there is a little romance in this book, too — it's just twisted and full of trickery, if you call that romance. Perhaps it is something more akin to "romantic horror." I love the shenanigans that go on in this story, as well as the twists and turns, all of which make this an exciting read.
The narration was merely decent; I wasn't terribly impressed. I think audiobook narrations should enhance the story, and the reader should feel like they are a part of it. Did this narration detract from the unique story? No! The author's excellent writing makes me want to read and listen to the other books in the series.

Amazing!!!!
Wow! just wow! What can I say about this amazing tale of betrayals, games and fae magic! I fell in love with the characters and the world from the very beginning of the first book! I can honestly say it gets even better in the second book! One of the few books I listened to in one sitting! I can wait for the next one!!!!

Loved it!!
I had gotten this first not realizing that it was the second book so when it started I was completely lost. So I got first book and then when finally this one I was captivated on what was going on and the characters are strong and unpredictable. The story was very entertaining and well written. Definitely a must get. Narrator did an awesome job bringing characters to life and she sure was very entertaining and not boring at all. I love her male voice performance in which was very well done.

From hunter to hunted
Allie Hunter is now the prey . She has been taken into the faewald and must figure out her next move . Her father has been taken . Her sister is not what she seems. Now we travel thru the tangle wood and learn of different courts . Feather , twilight , cups and even talk of the court of mortals . Allie will be battered and bruised , tempted and teased . The Knave has so many tricks up his sleeve you never know what’s next . Truth or lie ... you want to read this book . Better than book one . The narrator is perfect for this series

Loved it!!!
The second installment of Fae Captive does not disappoint!
We dive right into the Fae world as Allie tries her best to save her dad. The world building is brilliant and I jus trove picturing it along with all the dark Fae and other strange creatures. The hint of romance between Allie and Scouvrel is great. He is such a complex character. I can’t really figure him out. Scouvrel leaves us guessing as well. The plot twist at the end was just brilliant. Absolutely marvelous. I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrator Caitlin does a fantastic job bringing the story to life.
