Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Amelia Hutchins comes a tale of love, war, and betrayal.

A king who craves to possess her mind, body, and soul....

A council who has deemed her too dangerous to live....

And a fate she never asked for, but can’t escape from....

What’s a girl to do?

Within the Nine Realms, deception runs deep.

War lingers on the horizon, as armies gather deeply within the shadows.

The land has chosen its hero, but war demands a heavy price—one Aria may not be prepared to pay.

Those she thought she could trust have deceived her.

The council has declared her the enemy.

Everything that can be taken from her has been wrenched from her grasp.

When everyone is pushing her to become the villain they claim her to be, will she be able to become the monster the realms need?

They created Aria to rule the Nine Realms, but now they fear she’s too dangerous and ruthlessly savage to live.

Will she allow them to guide her future, or will Aria blaze her own path and choose her own future?

Well-behaved women never make history.

But no one forgets the misbehaved woman with murderous intent, honed claws, and sharp teeth.

War may not be the only thing setting the world to ruin.

Are you brave enough to enter the Nine Realms?

There’s a queen rising, and in chaos, she’ll reign.

A note from the publisher.

This book is a true enemy to lover’s tale. It deals with death and adversity. It is merciless, savage, and a view of how broken things overcome against inconceivable odds.

The steam between these two burns the pages.

Knox is savagery in motion. Aria is a chaotic beauty. So what happens when brutality and beauty collide? Aria and Knox burn so hot together that they may very well leave the Nine Realms in nothing more than ashes.

Oh the emotional roller-coaster...

Writing a review for an Amelia Hutchins book is a blessing and a curse. I love the way she writes and how you never see her carefully woven secrets before she chooses to reveal them, saying that 'Crown of Chaos', gave us everything.

Grief, redemption, heartache, truths, backstabbing from all angles and family drama that is for the ages. Just in the first half of this monster book.

You will ugly cry. You will hate Amelia. You will feel so much for this book, that you might not feel whole by the end. Even the cliffhanger leaves you itching for more. Maybe I'm alone here, but that 'one chapter' in the book that will certainly destroy you, in the story between Aria and Knox's, there needed to be a tipping point in the hate/love relationship, and that was it. Even though it's going to take some time to forgive Amelia for breaking me, I understand why! (read trigger warning)

Part two of the book was spicey, full of revealing truths and one kick-ass Knox, who is on the right path to redeeming himself.

I laughed so much with Ember “Men are stupid. We agreed on that. Tape his mouth closed and ride him. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. It’s time, Aria. We both need him. I grow and sleep because we’re about to be reborn into something sexy.”

There are so many quotes like Knox “You’d be considered a unicorn, which is fitting considering you dressed like one to wage war.” how could we forget Aria's unicorn raincoat?

So with every tear, I cried, I laughed as loud, and I was so happy to have answers, but I'm sure she also is misleading us...I do wonder though in the prophecy is the word specifically mean 'Son' or 'Sun'. By the end of the book, you will understand what I mean. I feel like we still have a lot to learn. I can't wait for Queen of Chaos.

XOXO Lottie.

🌻Why did it have to end?😭😭🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas 🌻🌻🌻🌻

I love all this author’s books and, I adore her unique, quirky characters. I busted out laughing as much as I cried my eyes out. This book had many more sad scenes then any of the previous books!

During most of this book, Aria and Knox were NOT physically together. They both grow, considerably, as characters during their separations.

Since they spent most of the book apart, this book has more dirty talk than actual intimate scenes.😉with that being said, the banter between the female friends and Knox and his brothers, made up for the lack of sensuality.

I absolutely hate starting a series before the entire series is released because waiting for the next release makes me crazy!!!! I believe book five releases later this year, but then we will be waiting for #6’s release. I’m not sure I will survive until the end!!!

As long as you handle very crass language, pretty descriptive violence and crude humor, every one of this books are more than worth the credit, for each!

So enthralling

I love this FL. She’s flawed but so powerful and relatable. I love the addition of her crew as well as the time spent with Ember. Such a great roller coaster story-heartbreaking at times, then funny, then sexy, then the characters make you so angry! Ah! A great ride. And I needed this one to help me to start to like Knox (hate hate hated him in the first few books). Can’t wait for the next one! Plus, I really appreciate that the author lets the story decide when the book ends, instead of dividing it up just to sell more books.
Narrators are some of the BEST in the business!
