Loved it
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. the voices took a minute to adjust to but once I did I was OBSESSED.

Good World Building, Predictable Story
I found myself guessing plot points quite easily throughout, but that could be the fact I have read enough fantasy now to guess!
I also loved the lead female's "Mortana" voice acting, but her "Rowan" voice acting a bit... text-to-speech (?). And although the male lead makes a great effort doing an English accent, I started to find it really jarring as an English listener. Could they not have hired an actual English narrator?
Overall the story has great plot points, and some great world building... but the chemistry between Rowan and Orion was missing for me honestly.
About a 3/5 spice level... and it's mostly in one scene... the rest kinda feels a bit YA.

YA with The Count of Monte Cristo aftertaste
I'm just too old for this 😀. The whole book felt shallow - the storyline, the Heroine, the Hero, the secondary characters. There is nothing to recommend it. But if you are after light paranormal romance, it is OK. I feel really bad about criticizing somebody's hard work. Most probably, I'm just not the right audience for it.
