I really enjoyed this book the storyline kept up the suspense, the characters were interesting and had depth. The only problem was the narrator's voices for the different characters were annoying from the start, they were very high pitched and nasally. But a really good read overall .

This is how a fantasy romance should be constructed, both main characters are true to themselves throughout the book, she is strong and smart but able to know her limitations. Independent without putting herself into stupid situations. He is confident with out being overly arrogant. He doesn’t turn into a sap because he has given his heart away. No holding back secrets that cause arguments later. They are a unit against the world, which in my opinion is the most romantic notion in any relationship. Add in laughter, violence, demons, serious justice dished out and conspiracies. I love love love this book.

I listened to this book in less than 2 days while I had many other things going on. the story is captivating, exciting and totally different.
I love it so I'm going to listen to the other book on this series.

Great story and hot and steamy scenes too.
narrator does a great job too.

The narrator was good overall, but why so whiny voice for the women? The stor also ok, but I couldn't understand why only the demons that wanted a monarch were the only ones allowed to vote. Everyone should be able to write who they wanted for monarch if it came to be, or else only the demons that wanted a monarch would get a vote in who it would be. That's probably not a dealbreaker. I think the book is an ok YA fantasy book.

This is a fantastic start to a series of how a demon community may run just like any other. While there is in fighting there also seems to be outside fighting as everyone seems to want a piece of Knocks-thon, while Harper is just falling for him. Brilliantly read by the lovely voice of Car Doucette.

Where does Burn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its one of my favourites now, I love the whole book Harper is quiet a character and its well played I liked Knoxs too he seems like a real good guy but he has his own priorites, it will be interesting to see how they play out

What was one of the most memorable moments of Burn?

I have got to say Harpers language a bit too much pointless cursing, I also liked the girls that Harper is with from her Lair, Devon Chloe and Rainney. These girls have some funny happenings in the book

Have you listened to any of Cat Doucette’s other performances? How does this one compare?

to begin with I didn't really think much of cat Doucette's performance but I soon found I was mis-judging her she read the characters very well

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to this in one sitting :) I have actually listened to it several times it is that good, a bit explicit but I loved the Feral sins series that Suzanne wrote so it wasn't unexpected

Suzanne Wright is one of my favourite writers and I have many of her books Audio ones if she keeps writing I'll certainley keep listening. Well Written
