Summary

Looking for a way to unwind after a stressful day? Enter the state of tranquility with these adult bedtime stories!

Listening to a short tale will get you in the mood to sleep and prepare you for your journey to dreamland.

As you grew up, you probably stopped asking for these nightly story sessions. You saw it as corny, childish, or you just didn’t have the time. But what if a bedtime story’s effectiveness goes beyond childhood? It turns out adults can still benefit, too!

Whether you’re stressed or simply trying to get in that sleepy mood, listening to bedtime stories is an effective way of getting yourself ready for sleeping.

The best part is you don’t even have to read them! While some people still prefer reading, technology makes it possible for you to listen to them instead. Audiobooks, and most recently, podcasts, give you the power to choose when and where you want to enjoy them.

Allow your body to enter the state of absolute tranquility and restful sensation so you feel more rested than ever before.

Great Stories

When you're tired or can't handle a lengthier book, try this varied and interesting combination of calming short stories and extracts. The diversity and collection resonated to me.

Ok but BEWARE Endy Mendy

Most of the stories are what I need - interesting enough to keep my attention but boring enough to put me to sleep. But I have no clue why she thought it was a good idea to include a story about a demon will be pretty much on top of you while you sleep. Resulted in nightmares for me and a horrible night’s sleep. It should be removed as a bedtime story.

Stimulating narration!

The narration is terrible for trying to fall asleep. The narrator's voice is upbeat and stimulating. I don't think they understood the assignment. Please note that all the 5 star reviews were within the same week, then there's nothing but bad reviews after. I'm guessing they padded the rating with fake reviews when it launched. Wish I'd sampled before buying.

Not helpful

I’m giving this 2 stars for the effort but I found the stories anxiety inducing and the pace was too fast to be helpful at all. The stories were much shorter and more intense than most bedtime guided meditations. Not one lulled me to sleep.

I would suggest this book

We were expecting a relaxing lullaby in the shape of a narrative after reading the reviews for this one. My expectations were exceeded, and I would suggest this book to everyone.

Learning to listen before bed relaxes

Learning to read before bed relaxes both your mind and body, allowing you to obtain a good night's sleep. This book has some fantastic stories written just for this purpose. I utilized the meditation segment to persuade my head into quieting down, which helped me fall asleep quickly. This was a fun read.
