This book is so easy to use with your children

We completely love this. The activities are brilliant and my 3 and 5 yr old love doing them with me. Extraordinary for showing care just as adapting procedures. Versatile for most ages.

My children appreciate doing this audio

My children appreciate doing this audio. As a family before bed. They are 4 and 2.5 yrs. They don't generally do it right or focus the entire time, as they are somewhat more youthful than the target group, however despite everything I think it is extraordinary.

I truly love this item to such an extent. My 2 and multi year old have received such a great amount in return in only a couple of months. I like that it has various classes of activities with the goal that we can apply them in a wide range of circumstances.

The little stories and set-ups (all very realistic) are heart breaking at times, but the ideas for overcoming anxiety, fear, anger etc. are all very positive and I believe useful tools for anyone at any age.

Keeping it personal with created characters who accompany the stories is another technique that makes the ‘teaching/coaching’ unique and successful. Or as stated in the book, ‘This book has been created just for you. It’s actually a storybook, with many tales about kids and the challenges they face. But it’s also full of ideas and activities that you can try at home, at school. And out in the world.’

Definitely recommend it.

This book definitely has some helpful coping techniques in it. I enjoyed listening it and am going to share some of the 'relevant to us' stories with our children. I have also left the book on the table for them to browse through it themselves. The stories are well-illustrated, the font is a good size and the pages are colorful drawing a person's eye.

Not for us

Neurodiverse kid and I are a nope. I like a lot of Chinese traditional music, but this is just too twangy, too bright, too sharp for using here. The music is unpleasant and the volume is out of balance with the voice. The voice is not relaxing, although it gets better as he goes on and he starts to relax a little. The whole experience was just unpleasant, and after sampling a couple of chapters, it looks like all of them are the same. I can't hardly listen to the words for the sound, though they seem to be good ideas.
If you or your kid is sensitive to sound, listen to your instinct when you hear the sample. That isn't the author introducing it, it's the narrator and then they put bright music over it. It gets worse.

Totally wrong choice of narrator

My mistake: failed to listen to sample before buying. First played the title when trying to help overtired 7 yo to relax and sleep. Don’t think we lasted 1 minute. There’s just no way you could relax to that voice and pace. Both of us recoiled in horror.

Lucky I had a backup to settle her for her first day back at school for onsite learning after all the COVID homeschooling disruption.

Truly imaginative

I wanted this book for my kids, so I listened to it first. It even had a calming effect on myself.Pleasant listen enhanced by the voice of the author herself and a with a bit of unobtrusive music.This will definitely introduce some calm into the day of my children.

Absolutely love this.

I absolutely love this. My 6 year old suffers acute anxiety, and has trouble switching off, this helped her to relax and will be on our repeat list. Lovely narration, very soothing

It's an interesting read for those wanting to seek out more information on the law of attraction. Now, whether you agree with the ideas presented is up to you, but the information is there for you to make your own conclusions.

An awesome book

This is clearly where the people who created The Secret got a lot of their information from - but that is so blatantly retail in comparison. And I came here after enjoying The Secret! This is hands down, outstanding in comparison. Put aside your mundane "logic" and listen to your heart and intuition. You'll find this audio book incredible.

Amazing, transformative book

This book has the authority of having been written by a major scholar in his field, yet is thoroughly comprehensible to a layperson. I think this is a very welcome and needed counterpoint to the many books that promote ways of using willpower and the executive voice to overcome undesirable behaviors - methods that not only fall short as aids in achieving goals, but also produce counterproductive and harmful results.

Very insightful book.

I'm satisfied and Impress also from this guide. The first chapter goes into detail about what anxiety is and introduces the idea that worry can take different forms. Although some readers may not think of conditions like obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder ass anxious in nature, these conditions have traditionally been grouped under the term anxiety disorders and are often treated with the same treatment modalities that are used to treat generalized anxiety. Overall excellent!!!
