Provides some great tools
This book explains that there are various types of disorders or problems whatever you want to call it that are defined as anxiety, and each individual needs to be treated individually. A good chunk of this book walks you through a process to help you identify what your problems are. From there it goes deep into your soul giving you exercises to help you identify the root(s) that are causing these problems. And then it helps you work through the root causes. It also provides some tools that you can use to address anxiety and panic attacks on the go.

Very helpful audiobook
This book is great for self discovery. Four stars only because I was hoping to learn a skill set to combat anxiety but have found this is more of a book to learn about myself. I do enjoy it and have partnered it with professional help so the two together seem to work well.

Great relief!!
I'd been having trouble. It was at times excruciating. Worry worry worry. I also had a panic attack on an airplane. That was tough. I called a couple of therapists which took a lot of effort. One never called me back. The other called back and said they were booked. I needed help. I got this book hoping it would provide some relief until I found a therapist. Now I won't be needing a therapist.

Highly recommend!
I am a cognitive behavior therapist specializing in anxiety disorders. I often recommend this book to my clients who have generalized anxiety, excessive worry, panic attacks or social anxiety. I consider this to be an advanced workbook as it is more helpful to people who have already listened a more basic workbook on anxiety or clients who already have a basic understanding of CBT. It has a strong emphasis on cognitive skills to help you change your thinking about anxiety by learning to assess danger more realistically as well as increase your ability to cope with the situations that make you anxious.
