Welcome to Bucky's Out of this World Restaurant!

And the threats will come. All throughout Vacuos, the Sect of the Abyssal Thorns spread their roots while the [Hero King] Kallistus Kal continues scheming. But Amelia doesn't care for any of that.

junk food fiction

listened to both books in this series so far. the initial idea was interesting and reminded me of one punch. bit it's devolved into hammy oh this enemy is so scary building up with exposition. then bam dead. more self praise exposition. repeat.

One of the Worst Main Characters I've even seen.

I'm amazed. I got through the first book. this main character is so bad. I'd honestly want the villains to win if they weren't all stupid morons who like killing civilians. I'll admit I can't speak for the whole of book 2 here since I just couldn't finish it. the main character is just a mess she's so op she can kill anything in one hit. she only ever arrives late (as in just before important story Characters die) so she can "save the day" except she is completely bereft of any compassion. she would rather look for employees rather than help her friends when they ask her to, and the thing they are asking her to do is save the god damn world. (the only friend she has, btw) she will make the choice to let evil people conduct their plans and only move after they have caused havoc (when i finally decided to quit this book amelia straight up said "if the world was ending i'd know" despite this author repeatedly making amelia oblivius to anything outside normal human hearing range she can travel the continents in a day but has human hearing). in the story, amelia is given the hero class despite NEVER acting remotely close to one. the first book followed the exact same pattern. evil people do evil stuff, and then they act surprised when amelia kills them or blocks their attacks with a bit of noelle fighting for her life too. that's it. that's the whole book, and this book is the same. This Main character doesn't care, so why should I?

No progress

I have given up on this book series. while the settings was interesting at first I just cannot get over how lame the main character is. there's no progress, no challenge, no nothing. Just her complaining and rehashing the same I'm so powerful and I don't want to be a hero conversation.
