About this listen

An unforgettable night of romance awaits in this funny, charming novella by USA Today best-selling author Nina Bocci!

The annual Valentine’s Day singles soiree is always a big money-maker for Eloisa Giordono’s winery. What could be more romantic than looking for love at a quaint family vineyard on the most romantic night of year? Well, just about anything as far as Eloisa is concerned. She’s a Valentine’s Day Grinch who thinks it’s the lamest, most clichéd holiday ever invented.

Fortunately, she’ll get to hang out with like-minded folks this year by hosting an Anti-Valentine’s Day party on the same night. She’ll just need to alternate between events to keep them both running and she’ll be raking in the profits. But Eloisa is thrown for a loop when a sexy, self-described hopeless romantic shows up at the singles soiree and keeps her captivated. Will he change her mind about the holiday...and about love?

Too Short, but sweet

I absolutely love this narrator, and any work I’ve listened to of hers is excellent.

This was a nice short story, but it was just too short for my liking, which was such a shame, as it has all the ingredients to make it a really great longer listen.
I would have really loved it if it were a full length story of 8 or 9 hours, but alas, you can’t always get what you want!

For that reason alone, I didn’t give it the full 5 stars as it left me a tad disappointed. ☹️

However, I would recommend it for a very quick listen.

Witty Romantic Banter!!

Nina has a lovely way of writing. The description of the vinyard sounds amazing. The characters are so cute (Olive too) and loved the idea of a Anti Valentine Party. Totally feel Eloisa and as always I want more from Nina xx

Nice, easy listening.

My first Nina Bocci book. lovely short story, good characters and excellent narration, as always, by the fantastic Amanda Ronconi. My only criticism is the several plot inconsistencies which had me going back over the story to see if I'd missed something!

Sweet

I found the story lovely and sweet.

I just don't feel like the author has ever held an event before, even a smaller, single event is more stressful than the MC seemed to feel. And then only talk to 1 person? Never going to happen. Unless Mack had told all the staff to work around that and what to do, they'd for sure be calling her for more.
