A great listen as always from the space wolf series. Did kind of feel the content and story wasn't as gripping as the previous books. none the less, still an awesome edition!

An awesome listen, but not as good as others in the series!

If you have gotten to the 4th book then you know what you’re in for.
This book is about space vikings being spy’s and covert missions.

I really like learning more about Ragnar and I’m a big fan of the early stuff when Space Marines were depicted as more human.

Love William Kings work as always!

Another interesting entry in the space wolf series that explores a different side to ragnar.

Narration is all around excellent but accents get mixed between characters at some point.

Story felt a bit weak at points, focused around intrugue, parts felt somewhat shallow and failed to provide the satisfaction expected upon resolution.

I feel like a running theme in this series is that plot points from previous books are not sufficiently addressed before moving on, would like to see more of that in the next 2 books.

Solid entry but falls short of other books in series

I'd start by saying Phillip Sacramento's narration is excellent, as it has been throughout the entire series. The story however is very poor.
William King is trying to force a space marine into some kind of spy/bodyguard role, a role for which he isn't suited, nor is any space marine. The story lacks the depth of the other 3 books, and there are large sections were Ragnar is talking to people or doing nothing, probably because King ran out of ideas.
To see the book series come to such a poor end is a crying shame. Book 3 has an excellent end and i would of liked to see it continue directly with the enemies from that ending. Sending Ragnar off to Terra smacks of trying to be different for difference sake.
TL;DR Phillip Sacramento is excellent, the story is poor and i'd advise against listening.

Excellent Narration but a poor end to the series
