Great book

I'm not a hard-core fan of Warhammer but enjoyed the book in its own right, gives some insight into Warhammer lore but stands on its own feet as a great story and is well narrated.

Great storytelling

Just as good as when I read it many years ago and read as well as any book I’ve listened to

Classic

Stone cold classic. I remember reading this years ago and finding it a fascinating look into the journey a space wolf takes on his way to become a full Astartes.
You can tell it was written a while ago as some of the lore has clearly changed, but that does not distract from how brilliant the book is.

Excellent narration as well. First time I’ve heard this guy and hope to hear him do more Space Wolves books.

A must listen.

This was the book that got me into space wolves when it was first released. William king is still the “king” of writing the wolves of fenris. My only down side is having to wait for the second book to be released on audible.

Great story & intro to the Chapter

Read this when it first came out. Still a great read & well told story. Voice acting is great & it’s interesting to see how the lore has changed here & there.

Gives a good tale of how ordinary humans grapple with their inner demons & what it means to overcome them.

Highly recommend & hope they do this for all the old books.

A fantastic space marine origin story

This is a great book for beginners to 40k, you really appreciate the difference between a human and an Astartes.
Loved the narrator even though there were only about 3 voices, did not think a Geordie would make such a good Viking.
An interesting and fun read!
