Small town, enemies to lovers? Yes Please!
Laura Pavlov is one of my favorite small town romance authors, and visiting Magnolia Falls for the second time is nothing but a pleasure. After meeting Romeo in book one, I couldn't wait to meet the next in line of the five best friends. River is the man! Grumpy, but a heart of gold hidden underneath his gruff exterior has no intention of getting involved with anyone. But when he sees Ruby at the bar, his eyes are on her. Ruby is back in town while her father is recovering, running the bar and ready to spar. River is her target and this banter is nothing but incredible foreplay. And our story begins. Secret rendezvous, goals set for the future and most importantly, no catching feelings. But is that even a possibility? Advice from Romeo, Kingston, Hayes and Nash keep things humorous yet the best a "family" can give. Ruby is tough, thick skinned and always taking on the problems of her loved ones. River is learning there is more to life than his past and feeling love is oh so good. This is fabulous as these two find their way and into love.
Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow are an incredible narration team and are the perfect fit for River and Ruby. Aiden plays the broody man with a hint of vulnerability. Packed with confidence until he doesn't, River is realistic and lovable. Ketchum as Ruby is strong willed, tough and with a wall around her heart. Loved these two together and their performance is stellar.

Wild River
Finally back in Magnolia Falls!!!
This fits for Ruby too, although she doesn't know it for a long time that she is finally home.
She helps in her dad's bar, because he had a stroke. But she doesn't expect to fall in love.
And River... well... we met him already in book 1 and I couldn't wait for his story.
I love him! He is grumpy and broody, but oh so s3xy.
He made a big development in his life and has now a successful career as a lawyer.
Both, Ruby and River are independent and think they live a happy life alone. Until they make an agreement.
Again a great story by Laura I can definitely recommend.

Loved River and Ruby!
Wild River was an enjoyable listen! There was so much to love about this story - incredible main characters, a great cast of side characters, a sweet and swoony story, fun banter, and amazing narration. River and Ruby had a great meet-cute and a story that had me smiling while reading—an incredible addition to this series and already looking forward to the next book.
Narrators Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow's voices sound great together and I felt they were cast perfectly for these characters. Their stellar performances really made the story pop and brought it to life for me. I highly recommend the audiobook!

Queenie and her Wild River <3
I’m in love with Magnolia Falls! I will admit I’m a sucker for a small-town romance, and Laura’s writing always seems to hit the spot for me. Full of feels and delightful banter <3
Ruby is a great character. Incredibly capable, intelligent, hard working, protective of those she loves, & she gets things done. The same qualities could be used to describe River, and yet with all their similarities you'd think they would get along better. Their lack of good communication and willingness to be vulnerable with each other creates a lot of tension in this story, but it also provides us with an interesting journey of self discovery for each of them. It's a cathartic story about the importance of setting boundaries, and how two people so similar can create extensive barriers to protect themselves, and the difficult and painful process of breaking those down together to create something beautiful.
I loved the narration here. I am a huge fan of both Desiree and Aiden, and I've been listening to them together a lot lately. They have very complimentary styles, very smooth and sultry, which allows the story to flow so well together. These 2 will always be a winning combination for me.

A beautiful ride on a wild river.
This is a dual book/audiobook review. I loved this book and adding the audio only made it more enjoyable. The addition of the actors Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow was perfect. I thought Desiree's voice was perfect for the tough, strong Ruby, and Aiden gave River the perfect growly sarcastic vibe he has.
If you are looking for banter with an enemies-to-lovers vibe then you'll want to watch River and Ruby fall in love. They sure do fight it though.
This was fun and sweet, but it had ups and downs too. Their banter and back and forth made the story. It was more than that though it was watching River let his heart open for someone outside of his group. It was seeing Ruby find her footing back home and watch her family sort themselves out and be more support than a burden to her.
I love Magnolia Falls and Laura's writing. I can't wait for more.

Slow Burn Romance!
This is the second book in the Magnolia Falls Series, a Small Town Romance. Wow! I loved it! Ruby and River's story is beautifully written. Roby is beautiful, smart, and caring. River is grumpy, handsome, and supportive. They are perfect together. I loved the characters, the slow burn romance, and the sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again the characters from the first book. Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Forbidden King, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series.

I'll take 60 Seconds With River!
She did it again, y'all! 𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟 took us back to Magnolia Falls and made us fall in love all over again. Bringing us back to the heart of a small town, lovable characters and a plot line that captivates you!
That's right. We get to fall for (and when I say fall, I mean 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅!) River this time! I absolutely loved seeing him with Ruby. Ruby was a very stubborn & independent woman, but as she cared for her dad, it was easy to see there was more to her than that! River was just what she needed! I loved how River was with Ruby. These two have a lot to work through, but together, they worked on it and it was amazing! I swooned so hard, so many times! They don't get along....at first 😉.....but watching as the sparks and banter flew between them, was epic!
𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝐾𝑒𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑚 did a magnificent job with Ruby Rose's character! She hit all the emotions and made me feel as if I was getting to know a friend on a deeper level! And can we talk about the perfect way that 𝐴𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛 𝑆𝑛𝑜𝑤 narrated River Pierce's beautifully chiseled character? I absolutely loved him giving life to the wild River!
This is a beautiful installment, complete with 60 seconds of amazingness (iykyk!) that I will forever love! Taking this trip back to Magnolia Falls was refreshing and I absolutely can't wait to do it again in the next book!

Loved IT😍
I loved this story. River is best friends with Romeo. He is an attorney who ends up representing Ruby’s dad, who owns the bar they hang out at all the time. Ruby unlike everyone else in Town is not impressed with River, and gives him hell, lol (loved it) Although the other way around, River is totally infatuated with Ruby.
Ruby is an independent, head strong woman. She had to be, as her mother was a letdown, Even now she is taking care of her mother and her stepbrothers. The only person who has been a steady in her life is her dad. River just riles her up and she doesn’t know what to do with it. But he also makes her feel like she doesn’t have to do everything on her own.
I totally loved this story. These two had amazing chemistry, their chemistry was awesome. I loved that Ruby didn’t back down when she and River got into it. River was amazing. He saw right through Ruby, that she needed someone to take care of her for a change. I love these characters, and I can’t wait to read more of them, and I have to say Beefcake still my favourite 😊 <3 As usual LP had me hooked from the start to the end. The Narrators on this one, was spot on. I am a forever fan of Aiden Snow, that voice, oh boy, loved it. Desiree Ketchum was perfect for Ruby, hope to hear more of her 😊
And leaving teasers for the next book, I am totally there for it 😊

Such a good listen!
I really enjoyed this listen! I loved how both River and Ruby were so independent and had to learn to give in to each other. They both have hard pasts and together, they learn to open their hearts. The banter was fun and the story was as always an enjoyable ride. Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow were brilliant as Ruby and River. I could listen to Aiden talk all day! I love River's guy group and I love getting to know them better. The little glimpses we get of who might be with who in later books is always exciting. The scene taking us back to Cottonwood Cove was funny and I love getting to see characters from Laura's other series. Another great story and I can't wait for the next one!

Another Laura Pavlov masterpiece
Laura Pavlov never disappoints, she seems to always top her own writing! This was another great small town romance that had me crying and laughing at the character interactions. Aidan and Desiree did a great job of bringing Pierce and Ruby to life.
Ruby is so fierce I loved her from the start, she is my queen and I will not tolerate any hate towards her. Loved the chemistry between her and River, the pacing of this book gave us time to learn about them as individuals and then see them flourish as romantic partners. Gosh I miss them already but I can’t wait for Kingston and Sailors book!
As always Laura does such a great job of writing the found family trope.
