Lovely, Happy Story ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really enjoyed this. Loved that Millie & Ford worked through everything around them while still sure of each other. Made a really nice change from the usual, massive break up, then tearful reunion a few chapters later. I love all Romance Novel Tropes, but its nice to skip the big break up sometimes.
There were plenty of obstacles for Millie & Ford to overcome to keep the story interesting and enjoyable. This book is in no way a lesser story without any screaming rows 😊
Excellent narration by Teddy Hamilton & Ava Erickson as always.

FMC is pathetic
I’m all for second chances but Ford didn’t pick Millie 9 years ago but now he’s back after ghosting her for all that time. Never even checked to see if she were alive and now he wants her. Millie is his second choice, safe choice after he’s had all the fun with wifey Sienna. Millie is willing to give up everything for the man who couldn’t be bothered to explain his actions until everything was said and done. Damn Millie find some self-respect and pride. He’s a jerk and she’s weak. Just an FYI to the author, women do not lose their ability to do their job just because a hot guy is around. Somehow we manage to be successful and keep our libidos in check.

Adored this Story!
I had such a good time listening to this. The story was SO satisfying for what I want in a single dad sports romance! I loved Mille and his daughter was such a realistic 9 year old.
Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erikson did outstanding with the narration!
I will definitely be listening to this again and reading any other books that come out in this series!

💖 AN EXCELLENT SECOND-CHANCE SPORTS ROMANCE 💖
Oh Devney, thank you.. thank you.. thank you, this second-chance/single Dad sports romance was so damn good. Ford and Millie were great characters, there was a warmth and inevitability to their delicious chemistry.. to their push n pull start,.. to their sexy times.. and to their love for one another. I really enjoyed listening as they overcame each and every hurdle to finally get their happily ever after.. finished off with a sweet, heartwarming and tender Epilogue. And there was never any doubt Ava and Teddy were going to be the perfect fit to bring the characters, their torn emotions and their bittersweet love story to life.. I loved their polished narration.
Worth a credit? One hundred percent it’s a big bold YES.. just ‘one-click’ this and enjoy a fantastic listen 😘.

LOVED
Uhhhh, I swear Devney Perry can do NO WRONG! This was fantastic! Not only did it have some of my favorite narrators doing the audio for this but it was a 5/5 star read for me.
What to expect

✅ Second chance (no cheating)
✅ Workplace romance
✅ Friends to lovers
✅ No third act break up
✅ Sports romance
I am not usually a big fan of second chance romance because they don't always feel authentic. This, on the other hand felt extremely authentic! Not only that but the romance was fantastic. I loved the beginning when his daughter met her for the first time and she's all, "isn't she the lady from the picture in your office?" He's mortified and she's so thoroughly intrigued. I loved every minute of this. Definitely a bit more spicy than some of her other books but I was here for it. The spice isn't instantaneous though, there is a bit of a slow-medium burn.

Love Devney Perry
Huge fan of all Devney Perry’s novels. This was a quick fun read. Hope there are more to come from the Mission characters of TSU.

Great narration!!
I really enjoyed the narrators. I feel like the audio version of this book saves the story a bit for me. The performance brought some life to the characters and it made it that much better!! Listening to Teddy Hamilton as Ford kept me invested in finishing the book.
The story was good but felt a little anti-climactic. Every storyline that added some drama didn’t follow through as much as it could have and left me wanting a little more. It was not bad at all but the the roller coaster never fell over that first drop for me.
