Summary
A jaded single dad. A woman returning to her small-town roots. Neither was prepared for their paths to collide....
I should have known I was in trouble when I backed my old, beat-up truck into the shiny Range Rover.
The driver looked like a gorgeous fallen angel–one who’d been booted right out of paradise for being a giant prick.
Good thing I’ll never have to see him again.
Except when I show up for my new job to teach a little girl how to ride her horse, I find the same icy blue eyes glaring back at me.
Paisley Dae is completely reckless. She’s also the best trainer in this small town. And Evelyn gets the best.
Protecting the little girl is my one focus.
Only the sassy trainer in her cut-offs and cowgirl boots quickly gets under my skin. Distractions are dangerous, but she soon becomes everything I crave.
One reckless night of giving in, and Caleb and I spiral into a web of passion.
But when I begin to unravel the secrets hiding in this place, I find there is more riding on this job than I thought.
Caleb and Evelyn are worth any sacrifice–only Caleb has to decide what he will sacrifice for me....

I think this book maybe better as a kindle rather than an audible. The premise of the story is a solid one, but it’s overly dramatic and overly descriptive. It plods along taking an age to get anywhere. Also the MMC is a little overdone, highly dramatic and just annoying. Joe Arden (whom I usually like, but not love) does a poor job, every sentence is overdone, but particularly the overly dramatic bits which he overdoes even more to the point where they are ridiculous.

Highly enjoyable
I’ve read a number of A L Jackson’s books and this didn’t disappoint, with its brilliant narration, great storyline and spice - not to mention an adorable little girl! I’ve taken off a star though overall because of the repeated use of certain words; after getting half way through, each time I heard the word ‘chaos’ or ‘spirit’ I felt myself doing a little eye roll. Still, I did enjoy the book an awful lot and would recommend.

Lovely story
I enjoyed this story a lot. There were parts which were a bit stretched out and many parts which I felt the author could have dived more into. But overall really good.

This might be my favorite A.L. Jackson books yet
First off – that cover. Isn’t it gorgeous? It simply speaks to me on a cellular level. Then the book. The story. Its characters. I love a good small-town romance with curveballs and twists I don’t see coming – and this one had a few of that. Throw the single parent trope and a grumpy hermitic and slightly secretive hero in the mix, and I’m head over heels. Caleb and Paisley got me hook, line and sinker. Add to that a list of side characters I cannot wait to learn more about and, yeah, I’m ready for book two in A.L. Jackson’s brilliant new series.
Paisley and Caleb are brought to life be Andi Arndt and Joe Aden, two top-class narrators, who both did a terrific job in transporting – and heightening – all the emotions the characters were feeling with their voices, creating even more and deeper levels to the story.
Highly recommend!

A winner for me
I loved this story 😍
Caleb was one of those heroes that was such a douche, but the more you listened to this story the more you knew there was something more to him. He was just a man in pain and he needed the right woman to help him deal with it.
Paisley didn't let him push her around. She gave as good as she got. And man lite Evelyn what a freaking adorable little girl💖
Joe Arden and Andi Arndt, haven't done this duet yet in a while and was so good to listen to their narration. Joe was so good with Caleb it's like you felt his pain. And Andi Andt really brought out Paisley's sassiness. Loved the characters and loved the narration 🎉💖

She has done it, again, y’all! 𝗔.𝗟. 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 has used her magic and created her fans a brand new book boyfriend for us to fall absolutely head over heels in love with in the first book of the 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 series! She never ceases to amaze me with her creations!
Caleb is absolutely, sinfully delicious in every way! He’s brooding, he’s protective and he’s the best dad! The sparks that fly instantly between him and Paisley quickly turned into an inferno that left me 🥵🥵🥵. I absolutely adored their story and watching it unfold!
Andi Arndt & Joe Arden were the perfect voices to bring these heart stealing characters to life. They always put their full emotions into it and I feel like I am listening to friends tell their epic love story! Joe Arden always captures my soul!

Perfection from start to finish!
I absolutely loved this small town, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, single dad romantic suspense and I loved that two of my favorite narrators, Joe Arden and Andi Arndt, voiced Caleb and Paisley!
This book was perfect from start to finish and I loved how much these characters complimented each other. Caleb and Paisley had amazing chemistry and the spicy was phenomenal! I loved everything about this book and I could not get enough! I felt all the feels and couldn’t help, but fall in love with these characters and this world!

A Small Town Angsty Must Read!!
4.5 ✨
Another day, another AL Jackson book to slay me with every single feel. Paisley, Evelyn and Caleb, oh my heart did I love their story. Caleb is broody and heartbroken with an impenetrable wall to ensure he never experiences the feeling of loss again. Enter Paisley Dae who manages to bypass every wall and steals his heart without even trying. Little miss Evelyn was a show stealer. That sweet pure and loving heart just brought me to my knees. Love Me Today will bring you laughter, tears, heartache, joy and so much more.
Andi Arndt and Joe Arden were absolutely spectacular. Their performance just enhanced every emotion I felt and wow did they blow me away.

Love Me Today
Caleb and Paisley - OMG I love their story.
Both kind of broken souls, connected through a little girl.
The narrators did an amazing job and I was listening to the audiobook already 2 times.

I really enjoyed this!
Whoa, what a start to this new series! Paisley and Caleb will completely steal your hearts! I absolutely loved Paisley and her no nonsense attitude. Caleb was a growly hero and has lots of secrets from his past. I adored Evelyn. And her and Paisley together were such a sweet duo. The story was fast paced and kept me listening just to find out what was going to happen. Andi Arndt and Joe Arden were incredible as Paisley and Caleb. I could listen to these two narrate anything and be completely swept away with their voices. I am so excited to get next the book and see who else is going to get their story!

Joe and Andi nailed it
have you ever read a book that hit all your buttons? this one hit mine. peep those tropes & tell me there is a book more caroline out there?
the tension was chef’s kiss and caleb was just so dang grumpy. 🥵 i binged this audio in a day because I couldn’t stop!
the narration by joe arden and andi arndt was absolutely PERFECTION. I’ve always been a big fan of And I’d but this dual narration of the two of them was just *chef’s kiss*

Grumpy, broken boy billionaire + wild, fierce girl
4.5⭐️ 3.5🌶️ 5🎧
Narrators: Andi Arndt + Joe Arden
Narration type: Dual
Standard length: 10:47
Listening speed: 1.7x
Tropes: small town, single dad, billionaire, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, nanny
📖 I really enjoy a grumpy billionaire, add a bad boy vibe with a sprinkle of broken and I’m done for. Caleb Greyson was just delicious. Paisley was recovering from a bad relationship and figuring out how to stand on her own again, but she was wild, fierce, and independent and wouldn’t let anyone push her around, not even a hot billionaire that she really wanted a job from. Those two pushed all of each others buttons and it was really fun! Enemies to lovers always burns hot and their chemistry was fire. Paisley was absolutely adorable with Evelyn, bonding with her immediately and advocating for her always. Caleb struggled to see any good in himself, and for a long time only focused on one goal. Paisley, being the strong and pushy little spitfire she is, kept the faith in him when he didn’t have it in himself, even when his past came back to haunt them. The suspense element and the way she unraveled the details from the past was very well done! My only tiny minor complaint, if you can even call it that, is that Evelyn is constantly called “the child” throughout the book and I kept feeling like I was watching the Mandalorian.
🎧 Andi Arndt is my absolute favorite female narrator! I love the tone of her voice and her speech patterns always feel incredibly natural. Additionally, one thing I absolutely love about her narration is that I can always tell when someone is talking versus an internal monologue, she slightly changes the pitch of her voice. She was also a great fit for Paisley! She brought the fierceness and passion that our FMC always shows. And Joe Arden voiced Caleb. He was perfect for our broody, broken billionaire. Joe has a voice I could listen to for days on end, and frankly I probably have! In this particular audio he showed nice range of emotion and I thought he did an excellent job voicing little Evelyn too! I know that it be tough for some of the male narrators to hit those young childlike voices, but he nailed it.

.. ALWAYS A FIVE STAR PLEASURE AMY
The brilliant thing about an A.L.Jackson slow burning romance is that you’re instantly drawn into them with their damaged characters pulling at your heartstrings as their emotions flare and you wonder what pain-filled backstories will slowly be revealed. And with tattooed grumpy Caleb, his tragedy, guilt and torment is strong and Paisley soon gets caught up in his dark friction and storm. The electrifying chemistry is dense and deliciously sizzles and sparks between them.. but it’s totally unwanted and unsuccessfully ignored. And I couldn’t wait for it to detonate and go boom. It’s a very enjoyable five star enemies-to-lovers small town romance however sweet five year old Evelyn absolutely stole my heart.. an innocent desperately needing hugs and love but gets caught up in the dangerous web she can’t escape.
Worth a credit? Absolutely.. it’s got it all. There’s happy and sweet.. friction, anticipation and fabulous flames.. grumbles and steady relationship growth. With emotional triumph, torment and toxic thoughts.. mystery, tension, gripping danger and sinister scenes. And let’s not forget the lust, passion, romance and sexy times.. and a wonderful harmony with a very happy ending too. Last but not least, Andi and Joe did an awesome job with the characters, emotions, layers, depth, tingles, tension and breathtaking love and sacrifice that oozed from the riveting chapters this oh so talented author wove for Caleb, Paisley and Evelyn’s story. ❤️

This book gutted me…
I mean, I was fugly-cry gutted!! Paisley Dae’s introduction to Caleb Greyson was a memorable moment…except not in a good way. Then when she turns up for her new job, guess who is her new boss? Yep, Caleb. Barbs and sparks fly and in the middle is an adorable 5yo girl who has experienced a devastating loss. Caleb is hiding secrets, ones that can prove to be deadly to those he loves. Will Paisley and Caleb get their HEA? Great story with fantastic narration! Highly recommend!

Caleb and Paisley
I enjoyed this book and the audible. The narrators were great. I really liked Paisley, but I loved Evelyn. Kids make or break a book, and she made it. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series when it comes out!

Oh my Favorite Day
Caleb and Paisley are magical. I loved that Paisley continued to believe in Caleb no matter how much he tried pushing her away. Caleb's over-protectiveness was heartwrenching knowing he was hurting himself. And Evelyn, this little girl won my heart. I was absolutely in love with this book. I thought Redemption Hills was my favorite, well this is coming in as a very close second. Joe Arden and Andi Arndt did and excedllent job portraying these characters. it hit my heart string. You can never go wrong with this author.

Small Town Romantic Suspense
Love Me Today is the first book in a new series, and I loved it so much! I cannot wait for the next book in the series. This is a small town, single parent, nanny romance. Paisley gets into an accident at the beginning fo the book, and things end up with her arguing with the guy. She leaves the accident to get to her new job as a horse trainer. When she gets there she realizes the guy she got into the accident with is her new boss. He’s the guardian of his niece, and he has hired Paisley to teach his niece how to ride a horse. She eventually ends up becoming Evelyn’s nanny as well!
I loved this book! Caleb is super protective and caring and I loved getting to see this from such a brooding hero! Paisley’s relationship with Evelyn was so sweet. I loved getting to see Evelyn open up to Paisley and do so well with her lessons as well. She had been through a lot, so it was sweet to see her happy with a good relationship with Paisley. The chemistry between Paisley and Caleb was so stinking good, and I loved the romantic suspense elements. I listened to this book as an audiobook, and didn’t want to put my headphones away. I was so into it and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.
