Summary

Don’t read unless you want a new book boyfriend!
When You’re Mine is the second book in the Gallagher series and can be read as a standalone. You don’t have to read the Very Irresistible Bachelor series before the Gallagher series, but we do first meet Isabelle, Dylan and Ian in them.
Layla Hagen writes love stories that touch your heart, move you emotionally and ignite your sensual side. She excels at bringing her readers the love connection we are all searching for.
I was not prepared for Dylan Gallagher. He is sweet, charming, protective and so incredibly thoughtful. He stole my heart along with Mel’s. I couldn’t help but fall in love with these characters and this story. Once I started reading it was difficult to put it down.
I loved the frisky naughtiness, the sparky banter, and the sweet evolution of fun flirtation into something far more complex, heart-wrenching, and brilliantly beautiful. It. Was. Stunning. There were moments where I needed to put my kindle down to catch my breath.
When You’re Mine is a perfect example of why I love reading romance books and getting caught up in all of the heartfelt feels and sexy fun.
I listened to the audiobook while recovering from an operation and it totally made my day - Maxine and Joe’s narration brought the story to life. How they portrayed each other’s characters was a bit disjointed but they portrayed their own character extremely well.
