Like A Good Cheesecake...
I just can't get enough of this book! I was hooked from the start by the character's the story and the narrator who's voice is delectable! I have to slap my hand from fast forwarding chapter's because I want to know if what I think will happen does happen, or is the rapist who I think it is, or is that a red herring?! I will update my review when I get to the end of the book, but so far I'm loving it!

Rebel Rebel, I love you so
Well narrated, tension filled tale of strangely staged rapes, that allow inter-agent extracurricular actions for the MCs. Plot criss crosses with histories, scenarios, suspects and crime scenes. A good thriller; I didn't guess the perp. V ENJOYABLE

Not amazing but worth a listen.
I did enjoy the story and flow if it but I think the sex scene were a bit much. don't get me wrong they're not written or preformed badly just seemed a little out of place. Was a free listen so still good.

A very good story line and well read. However the sex scenes drag on and included a lot of description which can make the listener uncomfortable.

Good easy story
All the books of this author are kind of similar: a mystery that gets solved with a bit help of luck despite the normal investigation and two investigators that fall in love. If you do not mind the clichés then the book is an effortless read to fill your time while doing something else. The narrator is good too.

Good story, just don’t listen in the car with the kids!
Great listen but the rather detailed ‘encounters’ were a surprise! 😂 Otherwise really enjoyable and easy listen.

Excellent narration of a good story
The narrator was excellent - flawlessly distinguished between multiple characters and was easy to listen to.
The story itself - I saw one part coming from a mile away, but didn’t guess the twist. However it did feel a little rushed through that part - overall good, would listen to others in the series (although not in the car with my kids 😅🫣🤭)

Started off well enough...
This story started off well enough although a bit formulaic, young women proving to be really good in a misogynistic environment. Two people who can't help the chemistry between them (bit like some Y.A. vampire stories) but then we get into the soft porn which adds nothing to the story and gets rather boring. If I want throbbing passion, I would buy a romance or some porn...... not a detective story! The ending loses it's way rather and is rather muddled. About two thirds through the volume keeps going up and down and gets progressively worse, so much so that I had to repeatedly go back and repeat things. Don't think I would get more in this serries.
