Summary

Taking her is my right. Breaking her, my duty.

I was always going to choose Helena. I knew it the instant I saw her.

She’s different than the others. There’s a darkness about her. Something wild inside her. And it calls to the beast inside me.

But she isn’t what I expected. With every word and every touch, she pushes me, burrowing deep under my skin, challenging the rules, and upending history.

And all the while, I see how my brother watches her. He wants her, and as the rules stand, she’ll become his in one year’s time.

Except that I have no intention of giving her up.

Author's Note: Torn is the second and final audiobook of the Dark Legacy Duet.

Contains mature themes.

A great end

🎧 Audiobook Obsession Reviewer.

This book was the perfect ending to a fantastic story. The flow of the book was great it kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know more. The characters were so easy to feel for. Helena was so much stronger in this book she grew so much from book 1.

Michael Pauley is so intense his voice just gets me lost in the story he really is very good. Mackenxie Cartwright did such a great job they both sounded great together.

If you are looking for a hot as hell dark romance then this book is for you.x

Love it!!

If you have made it this far- you have nerves of steel! "Taken" tests you and pushes you to see if it can bring you to the edge. But I urge you- continue to "Torn" and you will be greatly rewarded with a fantastic ending to this tale. The characters in this book are so flawed yet we come to see the hidden sides of them and see that they are not the monsters we think they are. The chemistry, the HEAT, the suspense. I looooved it! Natasha is the queen of Dark romance- An amazing read all around.

Narration was great! They did a wonderful job of bringing these complex characters to life in the best way!

Holy ..... holy .....
Okay I will try and form better words.
I liked book one a lot. Complex storyline, characters, plot, all absolutely brilliant.
Book two ^^ blew book one off of the surface in alllllll of those points. I got all the answers I wanted. I need a book about Sebs little brother though.

Listened to the audio and it was awesome.

You cannot stop once started!

AUDIOBookobsessionReviewer
This book trio will take over your life. You find you cannot bear to not know what comes next..... yes even if that means finishing at 3.45am 😯 OMG they ARE that addictive.
As I previously thought from book 1. Helena is taken against her will but falls for her keeper Sebastian. She explores many different emotions along with Sebastian as he attempts to play the system/curse and try and keep her for himself. He hopes by sharing Helena that Gregory who is next in line will stand down. However Greg isn't making it easy. Wicked stepmother Lucinda has something evil up her sleeve how will their feelings withstand the rollercoaster?
Will sebastian set her free does she want to go or does she want the other brother?
Book 2 makes it all clear
Hooked on this duet. Loved the narrators

Wow just wow this story was far beyond what I could have hoped for! Crazy addictive and wildly satisfying. I could not stop listening, I could not stop falling in love with this dark tale! These characters feel so much and so strong and the narrators bring them to life with the utmost realistic performance.

The darkness continues

I had to continue this book and I'm glad I did. This whole creepy family had me on edge. I kept my fingers crossed that the step mom would get what she had coming but I'm not into spoilers so I'll not mention if she did or did not. Just like the first book I thought the narration was on point. I've already referred this to others so obviously I think its worth the credit. I will say many times books promise darkness and give you the threats of it but nothing really dark; I think this miniseries delivers darkness

ooh it just keeps getting better !

book 2 I think was much more gripping then book 1 , the story progressed at a much quicker page but still left no details out , I loved the ending tho i did guess one thing that happened i didn't expect others that did , I hope we get more from this family one day especially sebastian's brothers
another great listen , narrators again were perfect for their roles

Twists!!!

Torn by Natasha Knight did not disappoint. This intense listen if full of so many twists. I love it when I do not see something coming. Kudos to the author for keeping me on my toes. I listened to Taken the day before listening to this book, and loved being immersed in the story. Michael Pauly and MacKenzie Cartwright were magnificent bringing the characters to life. They really added the right emotions. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for this review copy audiobook, I loved it!

Great Sequel to Taken

Taken was a very intense listen, so it makes sense that the author starts this book in the same fashion and then takes the intensity down a little bit to give us more emotion and feeling. The author seems to normalize the characters more in this book while still maintaining the dark nature of the overall story. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a detour into the darker side of romance with this author's work and will look forward to more by her as well as additional books in this series. Also, what a great ending!

These narrators gave a wonderful performance and made this listen fly by like it was nothing. I would have liked it to be tad bit more seamless when we switched points of view and narrators. The narrators stayed consisted with Taken and captured the dark nature of the story well.
