Narration bit weird in places, with pauses in wrong places, and one story line reminiscent of recent TV dramas but overall a well told story. The marketing suggests some Christmas fluff but it's a disservice to the author's skills.

Not really one for romance but Christmas is the one time of year when its fun to listen to something frothy. Sadly this one just didn't deliver. The main character is just, well, unlikeable, even allowing for her past, which was taking so long to uncover I lost patience. Nearly everyone was tall, beautiful and mostly shallow. I listened to just over half of the book but felt I couldn't waste any more time on it so returned.
The narrator did a great job with the pronunciation of some difficult names.

Really couldn’t get into this one. Narration monotonous and flat. Couldn’t relate to the main character and her unrealistic job.
