Summary
A short novella based on the beloved characters from Alice Oseman’s acclaimed debut novel Solitaire and graphic novel series Heartstopper – now a major Netflix series. From the author of the 2021 YA Book Prize winning Loveless.
The festive season isn't always happy for Tori Spring and her brother Charlie. And this year's going to be harder than most.
I used to think that difficult was better than boring, but I know better now…
I’m not going to think about the past few months, about Charlie and me, and all of the sad. I’m going to block it all out Just for today.
"Happy Christmas, " I say.

EXCELLENT BOOK!!Highly recommend!
This is one of the best books on the planet! Enjoyed it VERY much!! Also nice that you can see how the characters have grown over the different books Alice has written. I would highly recommend listening to this book!

Perfect besides the voice for Tori.
Tori’s reader talked really fast and was difficult to make sense of to me. I feel like the character didn’t match the voice either however I appreciate the fact the voice actors maintain continuity in that Charlie and Tori keep the same voices as Solitaire and Nick and Charlie respectively.

Great story, but …
This is a lovely short story, and the narrator playing Charlie is excellent. Unfortunately, the narrator reading Tori has a really dull inflection .. surely a better young woman could have been found for this?! Even worse is that the seven year old brother Oliver is played by a woman, trying to be a seven year old boy, which really sounds ridiculous.

It is a great book!
The book was great and the readers of Tori and Charlie are good but Oliver’s reader sound a bit weird and does not sound like a 7 year old but you get used to it after about 1 minute

Same day, 3 different points of viewe
Short and sweet. Enjoyed getting the same event from 3 different points of view. Glad they've kept the same narrators from the other titles. Initially I wasn't keen on some of the narrators but they've grown on me.

difference in the two copies.
Have both copies the first and didn't realize that it was the same and purchased the new release. I actually enjoy the first release. The second is nice with the addition of explanations for the American reader but I did find it necessary. But will keep both copies.

I love this story
This is definitely a story not worth a full audible credit, because it’s much cheaper to just buy the audiobook from them. HOWEVER! I love this story. I have the book and I’ve read it over and over. But it’s kinda nice to have it read to you. Solid performances all around.
It’s nice to read a book without having to turn the light when going to bed. That’s mostly why I got this.

Great!
If you like the solitaire series, then this book is for you! It explains certain parts of the stories you missed, I love how oseman’s books all connect together making this one huge story line, even the ones not including the main characters (radio silence) you get hints of events and characters from different books, and you get to hear all the characters stories, and opinions really forming the characters. But if this is your first oseman book I would suggest reading Heartstopper and solitaire first, it would make a lot of sense.

All the stars for all the Heartstopper books!
I'd be really surprised if I ever rated a Heartstopper book less than 5*- they are the most precious books and deserve all the stars.
This was a quick little novella, giving us a glimpse into Charlie's mental health and how he's dealing with the holidays- and how his family is handling things now that he's back home. Things aren't great, but hopeful.
I liked that it was told from the pov of all 3 of the Spring siblings- Oliver is such a sweetie.
The narrators were great!

Gem for Heartstopper Fans
Fans of Oseman’s graphic novels and Netflix series will enjoy this day in the life of Charlie, Tory, Nick and Oliver. Insights into their extended families and Charlie’s recovery process after a mental diagnosis. Lots of insight in this short novella. Excellent voice actors.

omg
read this. after reading nick and charlie and heartstopper, I was hesitant to listen to this. I do not regret it. It gives more of an inside look to the spring house. I love how all the spring children have their own chapter, even oliver. It gives many different perspectives. 11/10
