A lot of info for such a short listen!

I was a bit skeptical of how much info could be covered in a 40 min book on gut health, but the author did a very good job of summarizing this topic in a concise yet thorough manner. They covered the basics of what gut health and microbiome are, as well as gave recommendations as to foods to add, ones to eliminate, and things to supplement a gut healthy diet. I was surprised to learn something new- that collagen supports gut health. I didn't know that! I am happy to hear that intermittent fasting is also beneficial, as I have just started doing that as well, The narrator was easy to listen to, though she did mispronounce a couple of words. That didn't detract from the overall helpfulness of the book, however. I recommend it for anyone wanting a quick overview of gut health for women.

Get your digestion (and health) right

I found this book very eye-opening. I mean, I knew that the things you eat, for example, affects you, but I found this book to tell me exactly how that happens. Then, the solutions are quite practical - things like add more collagen to your diet, eat soft foods, take digestive aids, and so forth. I'm looking forward to seeing the effect the changes I have made as a result of this book on my life. It's quite prescriptive and easy enough to follow.

Getting back on track

This was a short yet informative and motivational listen. I enjoyed the narration and explanations, as well as the handy tips dispensed. It was a good refresher to get my mindset refocused towards gut health and the many impacts this can have on all aspects of our well-being.

Great information

SHORT, SWEET, POWERFUL!

I am somewhat skeptical of short audiobooks, wondering if I’m actually going to get any “bang for the buck.” As this title was gifted to me by a friend, I set aside my normal reticence and dove in.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover a sound, practical and easy-to-do series of tips that actually work! Author A. James Miller did the right kind of research on a topic some consider to be sensitive and then boiled it all down into this concise and engaging book.
My personal experience shows that by cutting back on refined sugar, gravitating towards whole fruits and vegetables, and doing intermittent fasting, my entire body has responded in gratifying ways. My mind is clearer, my sleep is profound, and my entire digestive system functions with a regularity I wish I’d possessed when I was younger. But I’m really glad to have it now!
There were times when I wished narrator Rachael Dooley had utilized “Google Pronounce” on some of the words. Nothing terrible, but a bit surprising coming from a professional narrator. This doesn’t detract from the message, however, and I can assure you; following the tips and steps in this great little book will have a measurable, positive impact on your life.
Definitely recommended!

So Helpful!
