Summary

Books 4, 5, and 6 in the Amazon Best-Selling Series

"Mad Max Meets The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly"

Book 4: Rising

He survived The Scourge, defeated The Cartel, and escaped The Dwellers. Now he wants revenge.

After a brutal attack on his homestead, Marcus Battle seeks to find the men who took away his second chance at life in a postapocalyptic world. When he finds them, they'll wish they'd left him alone.

Book 5: Battle

All he wants is peace.

All he finds is war.

Marcus Battle is a wanted man. No matter where he goes or what he does, he can't escape those who aim to kill him.

But as he fights off one would-be vigilante after another, a new threat emerges. It's a threat worse than the viral Scourge that plunged his world into a dystopian nightmare and it could give rise to second apocalypse.

Can Marcus fend off the coming attacks or will he finally fall prey to an enemy he won't see coming?

Book 6: Legacy

She's small. She's quiet. She's deadly.

Lou survived the plague that killed her mother. As her father sheltered her from the evil that consumed the world, he taught her how to survive. After an ambush leaves her orphaned, the young, unassuming girl put her skills to the test. A wanderer every bit as brilliant as she is deadly, she forges a new path in the wilderness once known as Texas. But can she do it alone?

Gripping, emotional and very entertaining

As usual, the performance and narration was perfect. Poor old Battle got shot so many times I’m surprised he didn’t whistle when he walked with all them holes in him. I only wish he would have given Rudy that knife to give back to Lou on his return home.

A real pleasure to experience all 6 books. Now, what’s next?

More than just a plague-story.

It started with a pandemic and ended in a range-war. I'm not a fan of westerns, but this was a blend of stories which gripped me from the beginning and held me to the end. Fair to say, a lot of stuff went undone, until I got through all six books. A fantastically crafted storyline, brilliantly narrated and with an unrelenting pace, both in the telling and the anticipation. A previously hidden gem and I will be revisiting this author.

THE best writer of post apocalyptic dystopian stories.

The fun part is this story is nestled into a Texas thrown back 100yrs after suffering an excruciating kick in the balls post apocalypse. I loved the idea of throwing outlaws, posies and solo gun slingers into the mix. This was utterly a different take on the usual PA scenario. What genius! I listened non stop from book one to book six. Took me a week to complete and I never once regretted buying this series!

Books 1-5 were awesome

I loved the characters and the story in books 1-3. But, SPOILER ALERT: All but one dies in book 4, so its a whole new story. 4&5 were still very good, but 6 was a flasback to the childhood of one of the characters. The whole thing. You already knew her story and while it was 'cute' to know her background, there was no excitment or suspense because you already knew how it was going to end. I still enjoyed it though.

Good story

Excellent follow up to books 1-3. Gives a view of what could happen if things really fall apart. Kevin Pierce did super jab in narration.
Tom Abrahams did excellent job with creating personalities and going full circle with 2 main characters.

Absolutely wonderful writing and narration!

Loved it. After finishing, I HAD to get the next 2 books in the series. The characters and their stories really come to life in the writing, and the narration is outstanding! Kevin Pierce is by far my favorite narrator!

Still Brilliant

At first I thought book 6 was superfluous, but it does add depth to the other 5. To Tom Abrahams and Kevin Pierce, Bravo.
