Summary
Devourer, Ravager. Titles of a forgotten enemy, a distant memory.
Now freshly reborn in stark reminders of burning flame and blood.
The Tenth Realm has been lost, and Akran’s hordes of devourers and ravagers have been loosed upon the lower realms, dealing the reclusive and powerful Imperium a serious blow.
It will take Alva, the Imperium, the sects, clans, nations, and city-states to band together as they did in times of old.
It’s time for everyone to put their war boots on and put their cultivation to use.

Io
Good ending of awesome series.
This Series was one of the best I've read in last months, although I would appreciate bundle packs of 2-3 books.

How it should be.
Loved all the books, this ending was how it should have ended as ex military this series displayed the camaraderie you get in the forces. Great series.

Great ending
One of the better LITRPG series i’ve listened to! Neil Hellegers is one amazing voice actor and Michael Chatfield really took you on a journey. All the characters had great development, the dialogue was funny whilst also being profound. 10/10 series for me and 100% would recommend!

Only 7hrs and they rehash/explain old things
The amount of new content is very little and you cant have an epic battle and draw the series to a close in only 7 hrs. DISSAPPOINTED because this started off GREAT only to reach peak 3 to 4 books ago, only to start the trek downhill.

some B.S is going on with the last 2 books
The 9th Realm book was a complete dumpster fire. like some idiot just chopped out a few chapters and put it out. I knew this last book was going to be the same. just a single thought instead of the full 360 view of the time line and all the characters like THE PREVIOUS 9 BOOKS!
When I saw 6.7 hours.. I knew these ass clowns destroyed the last book of this series. after listening to it I never would have stayed with this series had this been the type of book produced in the beginning. Is the author dying? is there a fight between Audible and Chatfield? either way THE PAYING CUSTOMER IS SCREWED! REFUND YOU HACKS!
... Oh and my evidence of B.S. happening is provided by AUDIBLE. Listen to the notes at the end... Something stinks.

I am caught up!
Michael Chatfield is an amazing author, he is the person who got me into this genre. Cause someone who has always had a knack for sci-fi and RPG games with a drizzle of real time strategy I absolutely fell in love with the series. Cause I can’t say I have left multiple reviews on different books of Michael Chatfield. This is why I think it’s fair to summarize all of these feelings into this review. I’m also a supporter of his Patreon and the words I leave are from a place of care.
last two books in the series we are a complete and utter disappointment. But book 12 the 10th realm was probably the worst. Although we did see a lot of growth and development throughout the series. it was very lackluster and too focused on wrapping up the series to pave the way for Chatfield’s new book series. for this I’m going to leave a one star in overall.
Performance was always good and I still felt a bit attached and many of the losses. For this I’m going to leave a four-star in performance. Call but because we did not see the standard that we have all come to know Chatfield for I cannot leave a five star in this category. The last book of the series was not a grand finale it was no way to wrap up Eric and Rugrats story I think Chatfield did a disservice to his self by dropping the 10 realms like Andy did woody in toy story.
I’m only leaving two stars in story because we saw no other character development or growth. events that should have been explained in major detail were merely glossed over. as if we were preparing to put the entire book into a 30 minute short film. I understand as an author there’s only so many ways you can describe events but dragging your loyal community through the mud just to sell one more book does not sit well with me. Though I have looked into his next series and it’s promising. How can I trust that he is going to deliver quality Contant after dragging us out like this for the last two books. Get your money bro but you’re probably not going to see me as a follower for much longer. This is why authors fall off.
I’m actually typing this last part out of respect for your work. I hope you do better brother.

mediocre finish to an awesome series
this book gives the strong impression of writer burn out. many of the plot threads were left unresolved, the overall story felt rushed and only superficially thought out. I'd have much rather the author take as much time away as necessary so he could come back and do it justice

Thanks for the Ride
This was a fun series. I was worried when it shifted from Fantasy to Magitech but it was fine due to ramping up the stakes and scale of things.
I'm glad it didn't have a weird ending like to many modern books do.
Thanks for the ride

Just not up to previous standards.
I felt like the whole series glorified fighting, while promoting virtue signaling in every book.
The story quickly became repetitive with a rehash of the previous issues only on a progressively grander scale.
We received a taste of world mechanics but the author didn’t really delve deeper into the complex intermingling. Instead they glossed over much after they had established some principles.
But neither the story nor the mechanics possess enough gravitas to really keep the listeners attention.
Honestly the narrator was the most important factor in making the series palatable.
Given that I was already invested I chose to follow through to the end.
I can bet that many author’s book sales get carried simply because of this phenomenon.

Just kinda sucked
Too short compared to the others, and by far the worst book in the series. Honestly, kind of wish I hadn’t bought this book.

the end
This was a satisfying end to an epic series. The big bad could've used more flare and dialog, but hey that just my opinion.
