From Publishers WeeklyWith his 300-odd video and audio courses (sales at one mil.), and 30 books, Tracy has built a strong motivational sales and marketing brand. This latest installment shapes pop psychological constructs to fit Tracy's existing paradigms: "Your subconscious does not think or decide. It merely obeys your mental commands." Tell that to Dr. Freud, one might retort, but the point here is not fidelity to psychology theory, but efficacy in getting readers to change the way they bring themselves to a sale. Visualization techniques, concrete sales advice and motivational pep talks make up chapters like "The Inner Game of Selling" and "The Power of Suggestion." The "Getting More Appointments" chapter recapitulates sound but Willy Lohman-esque advice like "Sidestep the Excuse" or "Don't Be Put Off"; the book as a whole feels familiar, but it's clearly organized. Even in Tracy's generic prose, the repackaged tried-and-trues will find their marks.

brilliant message the narrator was too bland

The book had a wonderful message and many great lessons my issue was how monotone the narrator was.

Great if you’re just starting out in sales.

I got this book as I’m really into Jim Rohn at the moment and his talk on getting into sales sparked my interest. The book is really good, but only time will tell how good my sales skills are. You don’t know until you try.

Very useful book, will refer to many times

Great book, sales tips still apply now. Only downside is Brian Tracey's voice often comes across as a bit tinny (bad recording). However the content is great.

brilliant

This book has complied about everything I have learnt in a sales roles over the last 19 years in one place! great listen which actually extend beyond just sales. a must listen for anyone that wants to get on in business

Must read and listen

I recommend to purchase both options, the physical book and the audio one. This piece is like the encyclopaedia of selling. I don't think you're going to need anything else to become the best salesperson. The best part of the above though, is the fact that this book will also teach you how to live your life. Highly recommended.

Complete life changer if you want to improve sales

With this book series you are more than guaranteed to have a better sales success in your career, you'll develop yours important skills, with integrity and confidence. Really loved it and would recomend it to any one who would like to develop their sales.

Great book

Was a bit dubious in the first half of this book but by the end of it was blown away. Completely different view point and yeah it makes perfect sense.
