Absolutely amazing

easily one of my favorite litRPG a true credit to the genre, it brings everything to the table but doesnt go too into the whole saviour of humanity thing or looking after land stuff. a true combination of all my favorite elements and it only seems to be getting better!

have to say travis baldree is just the absolute leader in this genre aswell, atleast in my eyes a true winning combo.

Having read the previous 2 books, I was extremely excited for this one, it did not disappoint! Another great book from Zogarth and we’ll narrated by Travis Baldree

Good but lack of plot progression

I love this series but this book has been the slowest so far. To me it feels like an in between book, something to get you from book two to book four. Book two also felt slower than book one to me so I'm hoping the next one will ramp things up a bit. As much as I enjoy the system and power progression, it doesn't do much for me without a real plot to drive things forward. The book is still enjoyable and worth listening to but I would have personally chosen to wait for the next book to come out and listen to them back to back since this one on its own just isn't doing very much.

Glad I gave it a go

I definitely had some doubts getting into this series but I'm glad I did.
The first book went along pretty much as expected, but what makes this series stand out is the pacing.
You definitely feel like you're watching the protagonist grow with each book, but not unrealistically so.
There are no major time skips where the protagonist grows from E rank to C or anything like that, but you can see how they grow, what they have to do etc
In this last book you can definitely see the growth of the author as well, the writing flows a lot better and is more of an enjoyable listen.
Looking forward to seeing where the author takes us next.

Amazing book series and other recommended books

Hi all

This book series is amazing to listen to I wish it was 50 hours a book can’t wait for the next one.

I hope Zogarth won’t mind be mentioning other books but if you loved or even liked this. Then I recommend you check out “ The land of the undying lord “ by J.T. Wright this is the first book of a litRPG book series with 4 or 5 books if I remember rightly very very good I only recommend other books in comments because if you’re like me I love this type of book and want to spend the great work of other people as well

Zogarth please keep up the good work I can’t wait for the next one

Setting the scene

This has been a good third addition to the series. Some inner-monologing is creeping in but hopefully it won't reach the levels we currently have with Defiance of the Fall. It's still entertaining and this book is building for what should be good fourth book. This book has set the scene and is something of a bridging book but it was still very entertaining and it kept my interest all the way through..
If the author can keep the balance right between action and world building it should be good and I am looking forward to the next instalment which should be action-packed.

I cannot wait for the next book

I am loving this series. Jake is a fun character, the side characters aren't unbearable and actually are providing some relevant story material. Jake is getting stronger and unlike a lot of other characters it doesn't feel forced. he has almost died a number of times, but knows when he can win or realizes his over confidence and tries to fix it.

My only complaint is that he doesn't write faster!

This is a great series. Well written with a solid balance of character dev, humor, action, strategy and plot. The narrator is fantastic, adding a force multiplier to the story. Really solid entertainment.

Top Tier

This book cements Primal Hunter as one of the top 5 best ongoing LitRPG series. The story is fantastic, the MC is likeable, the fights are entertaining, the progression is interesting and, as always, Travis Baldree's performance is genius.

Outstanding

This series has been in my recommended books for about 2 months and I picked it up out of curiosity and definitely expecting to be bored and disappointed. within the first chapter of Primal Hunter book 1, I was hooked. I went through it and quickly picked up the 2nd and 3rd books. Absolutely fantastic series and 1000/10 recommend to anyone looking for a good book. I hope the series continues for a long time and honestly would beg the author for more. a dang good series.

it's good

if you like the previous books in the series you're going to like this one it's a nice continuation and a good ramp up of the character more other characters and reduced and the smaller Catholic character said it's developing and their motivations is being developed further looking forward to see what this goes I apologize for any misspellings I'm writing this review with voice to text I hope it's helpful.

Great series!

Immediately loved the book. Great follow-up to book 1 & 2, can’t wait to pick up book #4. If you like LitRPG, stats, skills, leveling and fighting then this is a great series to try.

Can’t wait for the Fourth

I wish the fourth book was already out :(
I’ve binged all 3 books and listened to the third one twice… about to go back and do the second book again. Just a humorous entertaining adult fantasy book with a good lead character. Fingers crossed that the next book keeps it up.
