Wonderful
I loved it, it made me smile, laugh out loud and cry. In the darkness of my bedroom it transported me to the sunshine of Rhodes and the companionship of new friends.
Now the narration, it was sheer perfection. Everyone had a different voice and she gave such warmth to them, she was a joy to listen to. I hope to find myself listening to more of her narrations. ❤️

Pleasant easy read
A feel good easy read but not gripping at all. Didn’t like the strange men’s voices. Should have got actual men to do them. Overall very pleasant though.

Brilliant
This was a lovely story, that makes you think.!!! When you are nearing 60 life should be full of change and adventure, not just focusing on what you can't do anymore, but what you can do. I can't wait to start on the next Old Ducks Book. Very Highly Recommended .

the narator Penelope Freeman
i enjoyed this very much being of a similar age as the old ducks! The story was good also the characters but made really good by the narator very clever with so many voices and acacents to manage !
I am now on the old ducks hen do and am looking for more titles narated by Penelope freeman.

This Old Duck loved it!
The perfectly predictable easy summer read. Brilliant characters with traits a lot of people could relate to. It made me laugh out loud and be thankful for my very own ‘old ducks club’.

Very Entertaining
I found this book great fun. The characters were all quite believable and allowed to be real people. Although I think Theo is just too good to be true!!!
