About this listen

Charlotte Ames despises hotheads. You know the type. It's the growly, perma-scowling bully who blows his top at the slightest inconvenience. And her former boss, Top Chef Mitch Elliott, is the king of all hotheads.

How big of a jerk is he? Big enough to make her hurl a salad at the guy.

Those vegetables didn’t ask to be strewn across the floor. But Mitch deserved it!

Is he devastatingly handsome when he loses his cool? Could his stormy blue eyes, flashing with passion, melt the panties right off a gal? That would be a yes. Still, she can’t stand him. And she’d thought she’d seen the last of the culinary creep.

She was wrong.

On the cusp of eviction and with five bucks to her name, she needs a job.

Enter the exclusive Nanny Match Agency and an opportunity to make some real cash.

Sounds great, right? Wrong again!

The universe has one messed-up sense of humor. When she wakes up after a margarita bender and learns she’s become the hothead’s nanny, life goes topsy-turvy! But when the nanny dust settles, she sees another side of the man. A man who might be more than a hothead. A man who gazes at her with such intensity, she can barely keep from combusting.

Don’t fall for the hotheaded chef.

Her head knows what to do. If only she could convince her heart.

Could this nanny match be the match that changes everything, or will it get too hot in the kitchen for the nanny and the hothead?

Oscar! Oh, and Mitch & Charlotte!

Krista Sandor does it again! She made me laugh and fall in love! How does she do it? With a little help from Madeline, the recruiter for the Navy Match Agency. She has her sights set on Charlotte this time, on the brink of losing her apartment she offers her the chance to be nanny to Oscar, the son of famous chef Mitch Elliott. It's a great opportunity, and the money is fantastic, but he is the reason she lost her job! He is rude, arrogant and likes to bully his help. Should she take it? Mitch is a mess. Since the death of Oscar's mother, Mitch has had a roadblock with his cooking, and has no idea how to interact with a six year old. When Charlotte is offered to him as a nanny though, he is hesitant. The two decide to give it a chance, and what they find is so much more than just a good fit. Things are rocky, Oscar is a hoot and working together may be more difficult than they thought. But is it a personality clash or foreplay? This book has a little of everything. It had me laughing and tearing up. It's packed with emotions of fear and love, dealing with realistic life problems and crazy antics. And we get to see our friends from the first book! Talk about fun, when two six year olds get together it's so much fun! Another fabulous match! Can't wait to see what Madeline has in store next.

Monica King continues her narration of this fantastic series. I am enjoying her vast array of voices, keeping consistent with her previous book and creating new ones for this new couple! Each emotion is felt, and her comedic timing is spot on! Love this performance!

A Delightful Gem of a Story! Awesome🎧📚🎧

Krista Sandor pens another wonderfully delightful romantic comedy set in her “Nanny Love Match” series, each book features different lead characters, a wealthy male guardian and a nanny that was found thru an exclusive and high-end matchmaking agency. Madeline, the matchmaker, who is an absolute riot, seems to know everything and what is best for her clients. Charlotte Ames lost her job working at a restaurant after bonking heads with her boss, Celebrity Top Chef Mitch Elliott, who she dubbed as a hothead because of his bullying ways. She is juggling a few other jobs, but it is not making ends meet and making matters even worse is she is about to lose her apartment. With perfect timing, she gets a job offer from the Navy Match Agency, despite never being a nanny, but the pay is great and would be a tremendous help in getting her feet back on the ground. Mitch’s life went to crap a few years ago, and he has been struggling since, and with the passing of the mother of his son, his life takes another turn. He becomes a single dad of a boy he barely knows, a boy who is not his biggest fan, his son Oscar. I adored Oscar, from the moment he appeared in a book, and what an entrance he made, he is definitely a scene stealer, and wise beyond his years. I loved how everything played out in this book, from how Mitch and Charlotte’s first interaction when she was sober, to how they got to know each other and how they bonded with themselves and with Oscar. The plotting, world building and character growth is fantastic. There is never a dull moment in this book and it will definitely put a smile on your face. The story is entertaining and has a perfect balance of drama, angst, humor and witty dialogue, heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Krista Sandor, thank you for another amazing story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Monica King delivers another fabulous performance of bringing these characters and story to life. She has a complete understanding of the characters she is portraying, gives each a voice that suits that character and is believable in every role she plays. Her take on Charlotte was spot-on, grasping every side of her personality, from her wit to her vulnerabilities to her determination and to her caring side. She did the same for Mitch, grasping his angst, his intensity, broodiness and his hotheaded attitude, as well as his own vulnerabilities. She was just as fabulous covering the roles of the secondary characters too, and her children's voices were amazing. King handles the witty dialogue with ease, and lands the humor effortlessly. You could hear how much heart she put into her work as she captures all the character’s emotions and has you feeling every single one. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
