Summary
Welcome to Angels Falls, a charming small town where hope, friendship, and family leads an unlikely couple to their happily ever after.
"Emotional, heartwarming romance you can't put down." (Lori Wilde, New York Times best-selling author on Then There Was You)
Gabby Langdon has always tried to make people happy. She even went to law school to please her father, and now, she's a highly successful - albeit bored - attorney. But Gabby secretly dreams of being a writer, so for once, she does something for herself - she signs up for a writing class taught by best-selling novelist Caden Marshall. There's only one problem: Her brooding, sexy professor is a distraction she can't afford if she's finally going to get the life she truly wants.
Recently divorced and suffering from the world's worst case of writer's block, Caden is in Angel Falls to get his life back on track. He's focused on teaching and providing a stable and loving home for his young daughter, Ava. The last thing he needs is to jeopardize his new job, which means keeping plenty of distance between himself and his talented new student - no matter how tempted he is by Gabby's beauty, kind heart, or the sparks that fly whenever they're together.

I wanted to like it
The first chapter and last chapter were good. The rest was....not for me. I think that out of habit as I adore the author I ordered this title. Aside from Nona, who gets a pass because of her dementia and Caden and his daughter most of the people are seriously annoying, invasive, immature (even Gabbys dad and step mom) have no boundaries and all need to grow the heck up. Sorry, but will not be ordering the next in this series.

nice
This was a nice story with a good narrator. I'm wondering if there are more stories about the town and family.

A professor and his student
Welcome back to Angel Falls, OH, where we catch up with the Langdon family. This is, primarily, Gabby’s story...there are hints to Rafe’s story and I’m looking forward to the next book. Gabby has just made junior partner at her law firm but she remains unsettled. She’s 30yo and wants a family...unfortunately, there are slim pickings in Angel Falls. That is, until she meets the professor in her mew writing class. Beat selling author and professor, Cade, has returned home to work on his writer’s block and have a good environment to raise his 3yo daughter. He is still trying to recover from the scandal caused by his ex-wife’s claims that he stole her ideas for his best seller. When Cade encounters Gabby, the sparks fly and, eventually the pair begin dating. But Cade has emotional baggage and Gabby may not be able to break through. Then the ex shows up...will we get our HEA?
Another great epilogue...and now I patiently...or not so patiently...wait for Rafe’s story.
