I definitely prefer this guys voicing for John. Yes they should have used English narators and this book in particular should have had a female narator but was still a much better voice for him. The last one was excessively whiney for an mc.

Anyway aside from the voice stuff I enjoyed the book and the series so far. You get a bit too meta some times with trying to get ahead of potential people questioning why something is working the way it is like you are trying to head of an argument (oh i agree on your harem cmsentiment by the way although I have read too many of those books) . Also you get overly defensive in some of your afterwards about the mc being op you don't need to an op character is fun sometimes or the different perspective of this novel. Its your story tell it how you like. Also its non of my business to tell you how you should write either so feel free to ignore me and keep doing what your doing

bundle a series, then change the narrator and also do an in between book to grab more money.

although the previous narrator found out how to pronounce miscelanious in the 4'th book, he had charm. the new guy is dreadful. the main character is crying. always. it's difficult to listen and engage with the story.

and who thought it a good ideea to change a lit rpg stat system narration on the 5th book?

terrible production decisions. hope book 6 gets a better team. Pegaz's story deserves it.

The story is from Sarah's POV due to John being asleep for 9 years, which is fine. It was nice to see what Sarah thinks and does, I feel it went on a little too long, mainly due to John being fun and Sarah is a bit of a wet rag really, but she held her own and did ok. The performance, erm, I love the voice for john now with this narrator, much more manly and that is about it. Mr Gilliland struggles with female voices, they all sound pretty much the same and none of them sound female, they all sound like they have just smoked 50 cigars and Sarah always sounds one step from bursting into tears. I thought the narrator of the first four books was poor but this takes it to a whole new level. But the thing that really gets me is this, both Sarah and John are English, so why didn't the publishers use an English narrator or at least a narrator that can do an English accent? Also, knowing that this book is predominantly from a female POV why didn't they use a female to narrate it, they changed the narrator anyway and there are plenty of female narrators that can do excellent male and English voices, very, very strange. The story is good the narration is poor, ruined the book, I suggest just reading it.
