I loved the story

Santa montefiore is one of my favourite authors and this book did not disappoint. I liked how all the loose ends were tied up in the end. Although I guessed a few of the connections the majority were a real surprise to me.

I enjoyed this story, but less so than The Affair by the same author. I liked how it all came together in the end, leading to a satisfying climax.

The author is a great story teller but this title seemed too slow. Took me about half the book to get interested in the story and characters. Tge reader did very well!

Another great story from Santa Montefiore. I love her books and this one is no exception. She paints wonderful pictures and summons up the most comforting locations. Even though the outcome was, I think, fairly predictable... it didn’t detract from a most enjoyable listen.
