Summary

Kathy and her sister, Samantha, have always been a team. Throughout their time as witches, they've taken out more than their share of bad guys. But after Kathy meets Will, who she learns is a demonic Dark Knight, her loyalties begin to change.

Meanwhile, Samantha doesn't trust Will or his intentions. Still, Kathy can't help but feel tempted by the dark side as she falls deeper in love with Will. Crossing over would give Kathy the freedom to do whatever she wanted with her magic. No rules. No limitations. It would also mean breaking the bond she has always shared with her sister, who has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with the dark side.

When Will proposes they take over the underworld, Kathy loves the idea of having power. But it also leaves her with a choice that will change her life: abandon her family and the life she has always known, or give up the love of her life forever.

Made You Think

This book really had you thinking about who was behind it all. I know part of the truth comes out but when you think back to everything that keeps happening, why isn't Cathy's husband doing any of the killings. Yeah he keeps getting called in because supposedly he can help but when it comes down to it, someone else does it, except for maybe two of the bad guys. That has me wondering. (and no, I'm not giving anything away). Cathy's sister keeps calling him on everything and trying to protect Cathy but she's "in love" and such. Can Cathy see it too before it's too late? What happens when she can't? you will have to listen to find out.

Pretty Good

This was an original and pretty entertaining storyline. The world building was outstanding. The narrator was a perfect choice for this book.

Book 1

Any additional comments?

The characters and emotions pulled me into the story. Some parts seemed a little to long and could have been shorter. I'm have to get my hands on his other books, especially book one in Under the Moon Series.

NOT A BAD STORY, I LIKE WITCHES!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Full Moon to be better than the print version?

Always is in my opinion...u I only listened!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

it just had some really boring parts..weak character development...had that first book feel...but it is still a good story!

Which character – as performed by Nathan Weiland – was your favorite?

Kathy!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did feel bad for Kathy after what happened to Samantha...and there was some funny banter between Kathy and Will!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a fee copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

Honestly it was not a bad story...more of a 3.5...the narration was very good...and if you like witches, it is well worth a listen...Kathy and Samantha are sisters, both have powers and are witches...and Samantha has 2 sons that are coming into their powers slowly but surely.Kathy goes on a job interview and meets Will...he asks her out and after dinner they end up being attacked by a demon fish...and Will kills it...you see Will has powers too...he has dark magic...Kathy is a white witch...but Will seduces her into marriage and almost switches her to the dark side...her sister convinces her she is under a spell...but now Kathy has put herself and her family in danger and it may be too late to save any of them!

Nice listen...and I have book 3 in this series and it is about the sons Josh and Chris..so I am moving on to it next!! This series can be read in any order..the books are stand alones... but fi together as well :)

great story!

one witch sister finds herself in love with a dark knight and enticed by the power their bond would make. She goes to the dark side and is caught up in that power. Who's manipulating the situation and whom can she trust as she gets pulled deeper... good story and narration... can't wait to listen to the sequel.

Interesting Series

This was an entertaining and interesting witch sisters story involving white and dark magic. Kathy and Samantha are witches with strong witch magic who fight evil beings. Their lives are never the same when Kathy meets Will, a dark knight who was born evil. Narrator Nathan Welland did a great job. This ends in a cliff hanger.

First book

Interesting enough.
I really liked the start of this book but it kind of fell flat.
Listened via gifted audio. Narration was ok, I didn’t actually mind the male’s narration of the female leads.

I 100% did not buy into the love interest portion of this book, and what happens to secondary characters because of this sucks.

I’m guessing there will be future books on the boys etc.
I have also been gifted these I’ll attempt them in the future.

Perfect !!! Good And Evil Unite. Or Do They?

I am not one to write reviews. But this one deserves it. Everything about it was really good. The story of what happens when a good witch and a dark demon fall in love. Then add another problem with a sister who tries her best to split them up. Nothing good happens thats for sure. Talk about clashing. Oh my! A must read for anyone who enjoys the paranormal . The narrator, Nathan Weiland does a superb job making this a very enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book.

Witches and Dark Knights

This was an OK book, but there was something missing to lead me to give it more than 3 stars. First of all, I didn't like any of the characters. I have a hard time enjoying a book if I don't care about what happens to the people. The main character, Kathy, was especially annoying. Her constant waffling and screaming and temper tantrums just made me dislike her intensely. When a book is a part of a series, I usually look forward to seeing what happens next. In this case, I really don't care.

The idea behind the book is pretty good, with a pair of sisters who are witches. Add in a handsome Dark Knight and some interesting supernatural creatures and you have a good premise. I just wish that at least one of the characters made me want them to succeed!

The narrator did a pretty good job, but I agree that I would have rather had a female voice since the story is mainly about the female MC. His female voices, especially when they were screaming and angry (which they were a lot of the time) were pretty annoying. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.

Not your usual witch story

It was interesting to see the interaction between the sisters. It was great enough book I have already started book 2. I got this audio book free from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
