Great book but audiobook is a bit rubbish
another great book but a bit messed up by poor editors on the audiobook different volumes and just obviously different takes its a shame but still a great book.

good story
I like the story a lot but the performance of the narrator was patchy in the way that some words are mispronounced or botched
for example when he says traders it sounds like traitors and vice versa, sects sounds like he says s*x there is also many moments where the audio quality becomes really bad for a sentance and then goes back to becoming really good which it mostly is.

Simply brilliant.
Another epic book in the serise, fantastic world building, incredible detailing and a vast array of characters, pleanty of depth and action which is to be expected from Eric and Rugrat.
The whole experience is brought to life with yet another flawless performance from the talented Todd Menesses.
highly recommended
5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easily.

More of the same, but now with more war!
If you liked the previous ones you'll like this one as well.
That being said, there are some annoying audio glitches in the second half. I don't know if it's bad audio editing or if it's a bunch of scattered clips having been recorded at different times, but the quality of the sound is all over the place. Sometimes switching several times during the same sentence other times waiting several pages before changing. It's a minor annoyance but worth mentioning as it's very noticeable, especially if you listen with headphones.

Performance let it down a bit
I love the series and this book. The biggest annoyance though was at times parts sounded like they had been cut into and the quality went down. Would listen to again but it's not at the same level as previous books.

epic world build -> errors in audio files
I love all these books and I have been anxiously waiting for this book to be available in Audio format. what an incredible universe Michael is building love it! This book made me cry ... in the bus ... so awkward but that's what a great book will do. I had to keep track of the story sometimes using the book which is how I identified 2 errors.
1) Chapter 28 is missing a whole section (eric's chat with Head Xue Lin - its location 6243-6321) it's just not in the audio file and it skips on to chapter 29.
2) Chapter 44 at 11.41seconds in the audio file ends section differently from the book (location 10337) audio file has someone dying that didn't die in the book.
all very technical issues but those are the only errors I caught - if i wasn't looking at the actual book i wouldn't have caught the errors as the story still flowed

shame
really really enjoyed the book but so sad to find out in the next book they switch narrator's! what an absolute money grab. its bad enough they can't even fork out for a woman to read the female parts. I won't be continuing sadly.

amazing journey
This book is amazing. Beautifully written, eric and rugrat are now in the fourth realm and oh man they're bossing it. Amazing fight scenes and character development of the alva dungeon. love the series now waiting for the fifth floor

It just gets better and better
I’m addicted to these books. It is seriously one of the best series I’ve ever seen. Not going to spoil anything. Go pick up book 1 and go! You won’t regret it. Except if you can’t handle fart humor. :p
