Summary

One of AudioFile Magazine's Best Audiobooks of 2016.

Number one New York Times best-selling author Daniel Silva delivers another stunning thriller in his latest action-packed tale of high stakes international intrigue featuring the inimitable Gabriel Allon.

Legendary spy Gabriel Allon is poised to become the chief of Israel’s secret intelligence service. But on the eve of his promotion, ISIS detonate a massive bomb in the Marais district of Paris, and a desperate French government want Gabriel to eliminate the man responsible.

They call him Saladin....

He is a terrorist mastermind, whose network communicates in total secrecy, leaving Gabriel no choice but to insert an agent into the most dangerous terrorist group the world has ever known. An extraordinary young doctor, she must pose as an ISIS recruit in waiting, a ticking time bomb, a black widow out for blood.

Top class.

I loved this book but I always new I would as this author is at the top of the game. His plot lines are just so good and the books are so full of action, adventure and intreag. I will always listen to any book this author releases. If you want agood spy thriller then give this ago. What could I say about this narator but I could listen to him for hours and hours and enjoy every minute. The only slight bad thing I could say is that audible don't have the whole series available, so please try and get the missing audio books.

Great book not do great reader

Fascinating plot line. Spoiled by awful reading. Intonation all over the place to the point where sentences didn’t make sense.

Thoroughly absorbing - totally enjoyable

I can almost image this as a film. Each character is credible, clearly defined and totally plausible. This, for me, was the kind of book that I did not want to end. Highly recommended!
