Packtastic

I really enjoyed this audio book. The story was engrossing, the characters believable, and it was all brought perfectly to life by Kirt Graves. I'm intrigued to see where the story will take us next.

Great start to series

I has been a while since I read/ listened to a book by Kiki. It think yhus series will have a good overarching plotline; power hungry shifters, humans ,witchess e.a. Per volume a relationship that develops between at least one of the shifters of the Kincaid pack. This one is between Kai and alpha Rick. They have the fated connection , but the relationships is respectful and sassy at the same time. I love how much they both care about Kai his siblings. The book ends with a an op3n end jn relation to the power hungry neigjbouring pack. However Kai and Rick are solid.

Good solid storytelling

This is a solid, well written story that avoids most of the clichés of the genre. The relationship was sentimental enough without the author going overboard. Other writers of shifter romance would have added pages of angsty internal monologue... which is what usually puts me off shifter books. But this one is a great listen. Kirt Graves is good as per usual but his attempt at a Scottish accent for the housekeeper is a bit cringy.

Amazing story, well written and performed.

Meet the Alpha and the members of his pack - The characters have so much depth, the story is well written and performed. First time reading a gay romance it was refreshing and I enjoyed it listening to the story.

Would highly recommend!

I enjoyed this a lot

This was a great book and I really enjoyed it. I’ve read a lot of shifter books and m/m romance books, and most are mediocre at best. This book, however, was great! Good relationship, characters and plot. Looking forward to listening to the next one.

Pleasantly Surprised!

This audiobook happened to show up as a possible like because of finishing a different shifter series.

I thought it was was quite well written, the storyline wasn’t all about sex, but delicately covered physical and psychological abuse by parents to their children, and the trauma inflicted and the stepping stones to resolution and recovery.
The humour was enjoyable, making me smile each time😊

Looking forward to hearing Book 2 next!

Worth 5🌟’s 😁
