Summary
When I rode my bike into Aster Valley, it was supposed to be temporary. A quick, relaxing visit with friends. No entanglements. Zero drama.
But then I saw the bumblebee being harassed on the side of the highway.
More specifically, I saw Truman Sweet, Aster Valley’s resident botanist, spice merchant, and bee-costume enthusiast, being harassed. And the second I got involved, all my plans for a quick departure scattered like pollen on the breeze.
It turns out that Truman - adorkably shy, relentlessly sunshiny, hot as all heck, reluctantly-still-a-virgin Truman - has secrets. Secrets someone in this charming small town doesn’t want brought to light. Secrets that rouse every one of my protective instincts just as surely as his kisses rouse...other parts of me.

Well Done Lucy Lennox!👏
Another great instalment in the Aster Valley Series.
Truman, Sam and Pym have to be my favourite characters so far in this series, although, I have a feeling the new sheriff may wheedle his way in if the ending is anything to go by 😉😉
Really looking forward to hearing the next audiobook in the series 😁
Michael Dean doesn’t disappoint as usual with that gorgeous voice of his ❤️❤️🥰😁

Something small missing
Love the story got me going but I think it just missed out on a few things at the end
Sorry but it feels incomplete for some reason
But still loved and enjoyed as are all Lucy's books.

Eh.....
I get it’s fiction - but it seems like it is supposed be a real world - modern times kind of setting. As such, Truman as a character and the whole situation was wholly unbelievable. A 5 year old living in a 24 year old body was how he was portrayed. I’m not a fan of age play romances and would have avoided this had it been described as such. I don’t think it actually is age play but Truman’s character behaved as close to a “little” as you can get without officially going down that path - and that’s just not for me.

I was sucked in from the very beginning. The first scene when Truman and Sam meet melted my heart and cry with laughter. I could see the bee suit in my head. I loved getting Truman's story and Sam was a teddy bear with scruff.
I loved the conclusion to Truman's trouble even if I did predict who done it about half way through.
June can't come fast enough I need more aster valley after that epilogue. Hot as Heller is going to laugh of loud amazing if that first confrontation is anything to go by.

Another hit
This is another great story with a great narration. It is one of those books that you want to hurry up and get to the end while also not wanting it to end. I love the characters, the story and the town.

So sweet, so steamy! So worth the listen!!
If you weren't already in love with Water Valley and its lovable citizens you will be after this listen. Lucy has an amazing ability to write characters that you just wish were real so you could be there best friends. Then on top of that she adds in extra steamy scenes that make you drool while daydreaming of having that hotness in your own life. Michael dean as always makes these characters come even more alive with the perfect voices for each character adding another level to how adorable this story Is. I cannot wait for the next book in the series because I am already attached to all the citizens of Aster Valley.

Truman ♥️ Sam!!
Wow!!
I was definitely left awed after listening to this one.
Michael Dean does it again with his stellar and highly entertaining narration.
This book is one of my favorite in the series.
Truman and Sam were couple goals. I loved the dynamics of their relationship and everything about them.
I definitely couldn't get enough of this one.

The narration was wonderful, the story was eh
I'm disappointed with how passive the mcs were in this story. Truman for being a doormat and Sam for going along. The sex scenes were great though. And this is the second time we get an ending that is the beginning of the next book and not an epilogue of the story we just read. Why is this being done? It's annoying and really doesn't make me want to read the next one.
The narrator was the only reason why I listened to the end of the book.

Sam and Truman are sweet as honey
Sweet as honey was everything I exasperated it to be and more. You do not need to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this little piece of honey Lucy has put into writing. Ashter Valley is such a diverse place for a small town, but still has that small town feel. Lucy does a wonderful job in each book reminding the reader of that without it being to pushy. Truman and Sam’s book is one I will for sure read again just so that I can connect with the sweet couple and all the sweet people that make up the chosen family. I loved how Sam instantly felt the need to stick up for Truman from the moment he laid eyes on him in his bumble bee costume in the field. He even new from the start how to calm him down by talking things through in tense situations. Truman really came out of his shell and learned that sometime one person can make it seam like many feel the same way and not in a good way. The villain of this story who should not be named used that form of manipulation well. I’m happy it backfired on him in all the best ways. Truman and Sam’s story is one of 2 opposites finding love and connection to each other in the best of ways. The relationship definitely takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, but the ending is well worth the few nail biting moments this book will bring you.

Oh so good
I made the mistake of starting this book late at night, because I finished it as the sun came up. It was so good and had so much going on in it that I couldn't put it down. As with all of Lucy's work I highly recommend this book to everyone. Little Truman will steal your heart when you first meet him in his little bumblebee costume and hot hunky Sam will knock down all thoughts about not finishing this book. These two are just adorable together ❤.

Awesome
Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.
