Summary

Ezra

Partying, dudes, and hockey. What more could a gay NHL player want?

If it weren't for Anton Hayes, my life would be perfect.

Not that he affects my life in any way. At all. That would imply I care what the winger from Philly thinks of me.

Which I don't.

Not even a one-night stand with him can thaw his misplaced animosity toward me.

He says I'm the one with the ego, but he can talk. He rivals me for most egotistical puck boy in the league.

I hate him as much as he hates me. Even if I crave a repeat.

Anton

When it comes to hockey, I'm all about the game.

I've worked for years to be one of the best in the league, and l've done it without splashing my orientation all over the tabloids.

My hockey image is one I've carefully cultivated, and after one night with Ezra Palaszczuk, I risk it all.

He's cocky, obnoxious, and has an ego bigger than Massachusetts. And okay, maybe he's the sexiest man I've ever known.

We'll never get along. Not when we sleep together. Not even when my possessive streak awakens.

That doesn't stop us from falling into bed together over and over again.

Entertaining

Nothing special. I have read it all before. Both narrators did a good job.

I Wanted to Like It

I REALLY wanted to like this audiobook, but even after finishing it, I have no desire to listen to it, ever again.

It wasn’t that the story was bad, and the actors were okay…it just…seemed to go nowhere. I didn’t feel anything for either character, and I’m not certain if that’s a disconnect between the writing and the performance, or what.

Anton & Ezra adorably honest

These two characters are off the charts. Honest, hot, off the scales in openness about the complexity of the hate to love relationship! I felt as though I was ease dropping on two powerful people. Will miss them for sure. Had read 5th and 3rd in the hockey M to M romance, so I didn’t know how down right tasty Ezra w@s going to be.

Greatness!

Oh my I can’t get enough of Ezra’s snark! He is so funny! Great dialogue makes this book such a treat! Anton and Ezra start off as enemies and their banter is hilarious. But their attraction for each other is hard to ignore! Don’t miss this series. And the narration is superb! I want more please!!!!

So Good!

I knew I was going to love Ezra when we met him in the CU series and I was not disappointed. This favorite writing duo created a fantastic world full of love and acceptance in a rough and rumble sport. The narration was awesome as the narrators really brought the characters to life in both the accents and liveliness of the story. I cannot wait for other books in this series.

Tears of Laughter

I absofreakinglutely love Anton and Ezra. I laughed out loud until I had tears running down my face. Authors Finley and James are masters of snark and quick character comebacks. Iggy Toma's and Alexander Cendese's narrations bring a great story to life.
