Kyran Harbor is everything I'm not.
Rich. Popular. A superstar football player who's awfully broody for someone who has it all. Basically, he's a preppy jock who hates me. Oh, and he's also my stepbrother.

Good overall with a few reservations
The story attracted me because it was a modern take on a M/M relationship and romance. I did wonder how they would manage to make it last for 22 hours however.
The answer is long periods where nothing much happens or situations get drawn out for much longer than is necessary - this can at times become tiresome.
I liked the narrator for Kyron but less so the Avi narrator - though I understand that is personal taste.
The story itself is the classic ‘teenage step brothers forced together and instantly hating each other’ - this antagonism goes on for way too long and at times had me shouting at my phone.
It also uses the much-used plot device of poor communication causing confusion and misunderstanding - again, too much of this becomes tiresome.
However, the only fans twist and the excellent sex scenes, plus enough drama to make you want to know what happens next is enough to keep you listening.
It’s good overall but would have been better for being a few hours shorter.

All the booktok reviews were right….this was great. My third book by this author (I initially read her first two in the alabaster penitentiary) and she continues to deliver.

BookTok did not let me down with this recommendation because this book is absolutely beautiful. It’s completely amazing. It’s thoughtfully thoroughly entertaining. The characters are captivating and funny and loveable. The narration it’s top tier. This book grips you by the preverbials holds you tight and takes you on a journey of love, loss, more love, heartbreak and healing with a huge amount of delicious perfect spice that’ll leave you gasping. I loved this book if that’s not clear 😘

perfect in every way
This was just absolutely phenomenal. the story is amazing. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I got really angry and sad and then I was oh so happy. Avi and Ky are made for each other. they just made each other better people. the character development for both of them was incredible and so well portrayed 🥰
Kyran is such an amazing character her has so many layers, and it was so good to see hownAvi stripped them all back and helped to build him back up.
This book was HOT like i felt myself blushing as I was listening to it. if Avi and Ky really had an only fans......... I think I might have to sign up for it. 🥵
The narrators did a phenomenal job at bringing Avi and Ky to life. The emotional way they brought all of the different aspects of the book to life was amazing and made the story even more enjoyable.
I couldn't recommend this audiobook enough. Even if you have read the book, you need to listen to this, you definitely wont regret it.

Oh my days the spice!!
One of my favourite books so far! I need more! sad for it to end and literally restarting all over again as I can't get enough

Almost better in audio…
I was both excited and reluctant to buy this audiobook- because For the Fans is one of my favorite reads ever, and I was really worried that the narrators would not be able to do this fantastic book justice. But oh my gosh they did. Both Javi Wilder and Corbin King did an excellent job for Aviel and Kyran. Nyla K is so good at picking voice actors for her audiobooks!
