Certainly entertaining

every other book I've listened to provides Nihil as Ny-Hill but this presenter pronounced it as Nile. Somehow this bothered me for the whole book....

it's fine

It really bugs me that it's not tagged to Star wars or Star wars The high Republic. didn't even know it existed till it was in my recommendation.

And the mispronunciation was a little annoying but overall good performance. recommend it if you've been listening to Star wars you'll like it.

I thought it was okay

I have to say this was not one of my favorites. I did not dislike it and thought it was an okay piece of the story but just not much happened and there was the stakes were low having already read Fallen Star.

Another excellent part to this series.

With only two to three POV characters, it works well. Another fine part to the High Republic project, or series, whatever youc all it.

Excellent Story and Movie Level Audio Performance!

Let me start off by complimenting the production of this audiobook. Its incredible. The music choices and the way its used to build tension or during celebratory and action scenes are honestly movie level. It honestly feels like you're listening to a film. This is the first star wars audiobook that made me feel this way and i'm so glad. The story is also excellent. Very compelling and full of depth for a young adult novel. Justina Ireland really knows how to elevate her characters and build off their traits and they come full circle from the first time we meet them in A Test of Courage. There's an excellent mystery thriller vibe with compelling twists and turns that keep you hooked. Easily the best young adult High Republic novel. Can't wait for more from these characters and from Justina Ireland!

I've enjoyed most of the High Republic books thus far but this is toward the bottom of my rankings. it's definitely a HUGE step up from the Midnight Horizon book....bleh that one wad baaaaad.

terrible narrator

they must have had a deadline to get this published. the narrator couldn't pronounce 10% of the words and names. Star wars deserves better

Not listening to this narrator anymore...

The voice actor just ruins it for me...it definitely wasn't my favorite story either, but it's harder to appreciate the story when the voices of different characters hardly vary or make sense at all in my head. Maybe I've just listened to too many extremely talented and hard working narrators and voice actors...I've listened to many audiobooks and watched a lot of anime.
