in one word: Eh...

the choices of narrators are good, however the stories apart from Yoda's story and Mauls stories are all a bit meh. where all the stories are considered canon.. none have any impact at all.

if you've got loads of credits to burn, sure pick it up but if you're spending wisely, might be worth giving this one a miss.

Mauls story (could've been better - voiced by Sam witwer which is great, but they could've done this story as he'd arrived to malachor) and Yoda's (existing story put from Yoda's and sideous' perspectives) are pretty much all that are worth hearing really.

Mediocre Collection of Stories

This is a short collection of canon stories about characters we are familiar with. A few new make appearances, but this is mostly about majors. There are only two Sith stories, and one of those is a shared tale with Jedi. Unfortunately, it is like many canon books, mediocre stories avail. I couldn't pick one as a favorite. One was just a rehash of the finale of Revenge of the Sith. Voice talent in the audio is great. It makes me miss the legends authors even more. I'm glad many of the legends books are being given unabridged audio versions.

The original EU still reigns Supreme.

This bit of hot garbage is the 2nd star wars book that I've purchased lately and so far both books have been pretty lack luster. The stories are forgettable and classic characters act... well nothing like the character.
brother hood tried too hard to hit that pre Disney prequel mark and missed it like a storm trooper on the silver screen. this one did the same, though to be fair there are a few good ideas in this one that could find themselves turning into a solid novel.

In my opinion though both books might be worth a credit but not a buck.

Boring

Boring stories. Qui-Gon and yodas voice acting is all over the place. Some parts are good, rest is just meh. Sam Maggs have some kind of hair fetish?

Fun Short Bites of Star Wars

Without giving anything away, this was a fun collection of short stories in the universe of Star Wars. I liked that there were multiple readers for the different stories, and the stories themselves helped create new tales entirely or added depth to events we’ve already seen.
