Summary
She’s snowed in with the family. The only problem? They’re not her family.
A family gathering
This Christmas the Miller siblings have one goal – to avoid their family’s well-meaning questions. Ross, Alice and Clemmie have secrets that they don’t intend to share, and they are relying on each other to deflect attention.
An uninvited guest
Lucy Clarke is facing a Christmas alone, and the prospect of losing her job – unless she can win a major piece of business from Ross Miller. She’ll deliver her proposal to his family home in the Scottish Highlands and then leave. After all, she wouldn’t want to intrude on the Miller’s perfect family Christmas.
A Christmas to remember
When Lucy appears on the Miller’s snow-covered doorstep, she is mistaken for Ross’s girlfriend. But by the time the confusion is cleared up, a storm has hit and Lucy is stuck. As everyone settles in for a snowed-in Christmas, tensions bubble to the surface and suddenly Lucy finds herself facing a big family fallout with a family that isn’t hers…

Lovely story
Turned out how you expect with it being a Christmas one. Took me a while to get used to the narrator. I found the grandmas voice a bit annoying at first. Other than that a nice book.

A Lovely Christmas Romance
Such a lovely book. Relatable characters who made you support them. Wholesome and happy. The added bonus was Hunter the dog.

Mostly well written - hastily wrapped up
I really liked this book except the final 30 minutes. Honestly think I will read it again next Christmas and just stop before things get hastily wrapped up. The grandmother is a riot and the story of the parents and older sister were really quite good as well as the back story of the female lead. The "main" couple however didn't have any on page chemistry and it is a bit as that romance was forgotten in the story which is most disappointing since their story was set up beautifully.
The arc of youngest sister could have been omitted since it was decades of cowardice to the point of utter stupidity overcome in a flash of bizarre scene that was moments earlier described as assault when considering that approach for the main couple.

Lovely story
A lovely Christmassy tale, perfect to get in the festive spirit.
The story was entertaining, if predictable.
I was not very keen on the narration of this which did affect my rating, accents were good but the voice didn’t seem suited to the book.

Love Sarah Morgan ….
…. She never disappoints. A lovely cosy Christmas tale. It’s all a bit predictable but the characters draw you in to make you care about them and the Scottish accents are very good. I got a bit fed up with Nana Jean but on the whole, a most enjoyable listen , just right to get you in the mood for Christmas…
