voice change

I've been dying for this book to come out... but the new guy is ruining it for me. Eva Kaminsky has read the last 5 books, why change?!! I'm struggling to get into the story... hope I can finish the book.

The BEST ONE YET!!!!

Where do I begin? Where do you start? If you haven’t read/listened to books 1-5 hmmm go do it NOW! Bringing in the male protagonist made the series really come alive! I love the Opie and Bitzy scenes, but who doesn’t! Thank you Stacey for this amazing story and escape into another world!

Finally

I've been waiting and waiting. I liked Warwick n the boys POV. Tho keeping Eva would have been perfect because she's so good absolutely amazing. I'm happy to have a good book to listen to while working again. Halfway through already. One thing I hate is things being drawn out too much, just for another book. So many authors do this nowadays. It drives me crazy. Also exciting to have Eli and Ember show up.

Loved it!

The narrators did such a wonderful job! I only listened to book six on audio but now I’m thinking I need the others on audio as well!

Stacy Marie brown

Once again she Has given us an awesome Series I loved every single book from beginning to end the only thing that I wish is that The characters would have tried the nectar on some of their friends to see how it would affected them specially the ones that were changed on the pill with o To see if they would became more Fay to See if they didn't have to struggle anymore between humans And Fay Could have been a whole another book of the subway fighting for the nectar Along with everyone else But I love the books anyway thank you so much for bringing them to us

The series started with a great premise

Book one was incredibly interesting from start to finish. I moved into the second book immediately…..and that’s where the series went down hill. It became more evident that the author ran out of ideas as the series very rapidly morphed into a soap opera that kept recycling the same scenes over and over. If you took a shot every time Warwick just said Kovachs….you’d be dead. If you took a shot every time Warwick just said F***…you’d be dead. If you took a shot every time they needed a distraction in the form of a bomb following with an escape on motorcycles….you’d be dead. Not to mention that book 5 is literally book 1…..again. Series premise was great, but suffered from lazy/uninspired story telling. The narrators were great though. The male narrator for book 6 grew on me a lot.

Awful Narrator (female)

Stacey Marie writes amazingly. Awesome series!! I always buy anything on audible that is hers. But my gawd Becky… the narrator reads the sentence very clipped , or desperation (horrible) , The guy voice is great. The female was so bad that I stopped listening. But ended up going back. I’ve never left a bad review. I’m not sure what happened here but needs redone with different female. I was actually cringing.

Great series

This one is different from the rest of the series but once you get used to the multiple viewpoints it is great.

Glad it's over

This is a review of the series as a whole. I feel that the first 4 books held my attention but books 5 & 6 I found myself skipping chapters. I skipped most of book 5 as that dealt in prison violence that I got enough of in book 1. Book 6 just got on my nerves. Some reviews didn't like the narration but I was OK with that part. It was the storyline that got on my nerves. The war that just seemed to be never ending. And the fact that Istvan got away time and again while everyone watched him go! And how Killian declared himself the most powerful Fae more than once yet, what did he actually do for the war? I still have no idea if he had any power at all because he didn't use it if he had it. It just seemed so drawn out and I was itching to just get to the end. I liked how the epilogue kind of caught up with everyone and what they're doing but again, I just wanted to get to the end. The story as a whole was a good one and I'm glad I read it but I think book 4 should've been where the war happened and ended because my interest severely declined after that. But I felt like I was too invested now and had to know what happened in the end. The story is worth reading or listening to but you can cut book 5 completely out and the first half of book 6 and still can fill in the blanks of what happened in between.
