Summary
She will never forget their past....
He can't stop thinking about their future....
James Montgomery has achieved everything he'd hoped for in life...except marrying the girl of his dreams. After a terrible accident, Selena Ainsley left 10 years ago. She took his heart with her, and she's never coming back. But it's becoming harder and harder for him to forget their precious time together, and James can't help but wonder what he would do if they could ever meet again.

Excellent story horrid performance
I love Samantha’s books! If I were not so committed to her stories I would not have been able to tolerate this voice. So happy the Shannesey brother narrators we’re different.

Well established characters
This is a continuation of a series, Get the multiple novel collection first. This author keeps you rooting for the characters and happy with the outcome even tho there is struggles, of course, what new relationship doesn't. Love the series and happy for these characters to continue.

A choice if you can't pay close attention.
This book worked well for to listen when I was quite distracted and my mind was busy. It is kind of a cookie cut formula type of writing and narration performance.

Narrator killed me!
Seriously tough to get through. I don’t know if the story was over the top, or if the voices made it feel that way. I’d try another one, but the whole series has the same narrator. Shy away!

IDK
The series has taken a turn. The problems are becoming eye roll worthy. I can understand not wanting to believe that the lie you have been believing most of your adult life is a lie but I think these realizations hit a lot quicker. Seemed like forcing it to be the problem. Not wanting to come to terms with the fact that you treated the woman like absolute 💩....it just stretched out too long. I think the author could have dont a better job coming up with a conflict.

it was a good story... but....
end of it you wind a b**** slap the girl and tell her to start being an adult pay. there are two sides to every story and she needed to give him a chance to explain instead of just assuming that he was the one at fault she was just as much at fault as he was

It was really good until.....
The story was interesting but it just started getting annoying the closer it got to the end of the story. Selina was just really annoying and hypocritical since most of the time she only seen her side on everything. It really, really annoyed me. If I was her best friend Jin, I would have finally knocked some since into her and told her how it is on her behavior, instead of fearing that she would get hurt from the truth because of what happened in the past. That is what true friends do because we love them so much. Selina was really just a one side streak, just like she always blamed James about. She always kept using the "everyone always trying to control me" card. James tried to have her listen to him now that she didn't believe him, but he sure did try and hear her out when she asked for him to stay. It's really grrrrrrrr. Really Selina, I want to strangle you sometimes. James is yes, very stubborn in many ways but I thing the more stubborn one in this book was YOU. You kept comparing him to what your dad does to you, without you even knowing it...geez....how about not being like your father too with James...she also had his hand tied behind his back just as much as you. And that's all I'm going to say about the matter cause than I'm going to explode 🙃 lol.
