Summary

I made my choice, and it wasn’t him. But Kingston Farrell won’t take no for an answer, and I’m not sure I want him to.

Noah gave me his mark, made me his, and vanished all in the same night. Kingston used that moment to claim me and bind me to him irrevocably. What he couldn’t know was by sealing our bond, he set something in motion none of us can stop. He unlocked my wolf, freed her from her cage, and she wants nothing more than to make up for lost time by starting off with a bang…literally. His mark throws me straight into my first heat. My wolf mate can give me his knot, but I’m insatiable. I need more. I need them all—my Norse demigod, my royal vampire, my fated wolf, and my tortured priest. But we can’t afford the distraction.

A war is brewing, and there’s no denying I’m at the center of it all. Not when girls who look just like me keep dying. I thought I’d gotten rid of the target on my back, but when I find myself in a demon’s clutches, I know it’s not over. Something evil is coming. It’s stalking my dreams. Making me second-guess everything. And with each new attack, one question looms: "What if that evil is me?"

Warning: This audiobook is not for the faint of heart. It contains an obsessive stalker; a foul-mouthed, inked, and pierced werewolf; a naughty professor with a fondness for watching; a god of mischief; and plenty of heat. If you don’t like your books spicy, your men broody, built, and more bad than good, this is not the series for you. But if you do...listen on, and welcome to The Mate Games.

Intoxicating sequel that consumes you

It is fair to say that I was more than excited for this book, having devoured Book 1, and the authors DID NOT disappoint me. It has taken me several weeks and a couple of re-listens to fully process my emotions - this series quite simply is shaping up to be one of my all time favourites.

Meg Anne and K Loraine manage to craft a beautiful balance between their underlying arching story of an impending paranormal apocalypse while delicately weaving in threads and characters from their own previous series but at the same time sprinkle through the intimate character scenes between Sunday and her four guys. It results in a truly absorbing read and I was literally praying for it never to end.

Fans of the more...."erotic" (apologies I keep getting censored by Amazon if I use stronger language) scenes will LOVE this one. One of the benefits of making your heroine a shifter experiencing several waves of Heat will result in several individual sessions with all her guys, including everyone's fave naughty priest, and the first of (what we hope) a wicked group scene. Reverse Harems - I'm starting to see the appeal :) I love how this book also sees the group coming together with Noah, Alek and Kingston coming together to be there for the woman they love. A very cute Thanksgiving scene awaits you.

But this book belongs to Kingston, who is by far my personal fave of four. The journey he goes on in this book is beautiful and heartbreaking and anyone who's ever experience the pain of unrequited love and rejection can't help but fall for him. JF Harding, who performs him in the audiobook, is spectacular at portraying the right balance of pain, vulnerability, affection, love and everything in between, Truly first class acting and this is the book that has made me a life long fan.

However, all of the perfectly assembled voice cast are amazing and it is just joyful to listen to. Stella Hunter is confirmed as my ultimate queen of narration - my audible library is overflowing with her titles, I defy you not to fall for her. Jason Clarke is clearly living his best life playing the tormented and broody Irish priest in a role that will just add to his growing legion of fans. Aaron Shedlock provides a pitch perfect performance of the playful and rugged Viking, Alek and on every re-listen I fall a little more under his spell, it truly is captivating to listen to. But it is James Joseph who I am personally obsessed with, he may be fairly new to the romance audio world but I truly believe it won't be long until he dominates the genre. His voice is pure liquid seduction as the vampire Noah and that alone would be enough but his acting range is truly remarkable, from sinister demons to my personal favourite a delightfully pompous angel Gabriel.

The real magic though, is when they all come together (much like the RH itself) - check out Chapter 26, the Society scene when the cast come together to populate an entire array of characters. For a self confessed audio drama fan, its stuff like this that I live for.

Overall, a truly brilliant read with a stellar cliffhanger which will leave you salivating for Book 3!!

Twists, Intrigue and Hot Chemistry!

Just when you think that Sunday and Noah are ready to begin their happy ever after think again as his departure leaves her feeling alone but not for long. His departure allows us to learn more about Kingston and his past as he helps her unleash her wolf who has remained dormant for so long.

Not only is Kingston there to help her with the escalating threats against her but Alex is there as well as he and Kingston realize that working as a team is in the best interests of Sunday. The only thing missing is that Caleb hasn’t accepted his rightful place in this captivating quartet despite the chemistry and feelings he has for Sunday.

The characters are like a puzzle as piece by piece we learn more about them and what drives them. The intrigue keeps you on edge and the twists keep coming which leaves you wanting more of these characters and this series. The performance of the narrators was everything you could ask for and more as they gave the characters a depth that allows you to understand them and what they are going through.

Fantastic 🔥❤️🔥

This really does need to be made into a series or a movie collection. It’s probably one of the best fantasy books I’ve listened to so far. The characters are great and share an amazing chemistry. Huge fan of this series.

RH Paranormal Romance!

This is the second book in The Mate Games series, a RH Paranormal Romance. The story continues where the first book left off. Sunday and her men are fantastic characters : Noah (Thorne) Blackthorne (a vampire prince), Alek Nordson (a sweet demigod), Father Caleb Gallagher (a tormented priest), Kingston Farrell (an arrogant wolf shifter). Their chemistry is sizzling hot! The world building is intriguing and captivating. Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Shane East did an outstanding job with the narration. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

A must listen - I need more stars

Sometimes you read a book and sometimes it consumes you. This series is doing exactly that. If you thought Obsession hit all the right spots, you better hold on to your seat for Rejection because Kingston is changing hearts and minds in this book. He rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in Obsession, but in Rejection we find out more about his reasons and really get to see his vulnerability. And with that, we see the change in him. We see his relationship grow with Sunday and start to see Kingston, Thorne, and Alek really embrace the idea of being with her. They realise that they each have something unique that she needs, and their love for her overrides anything else. Daddy Caleb…well, he still needs some time. But he’s starting to come around slowly. There are some super spicy scenes…let’s just say Sunday is a lucky woman.

I am still team not choosing. I want them all.
What I love about this book (series) is that it has such an intriguing storyline with twists and turns aplenty. You are so focused on the story because you never know what revelations may happen.

Stella Hunter continues to reign supreme, voicing Sunday, and all of the female characters. I just love how every voice she does is so unique. Each of the male characters has moments of vulnerability and the voice actors do such an outstanding job of showcasing that. J.F. Harding and Jason Clarke especially. (Because we see more of their characters vulnerability) But not only that, but the banter between the characters is so seamless, it almost felt like J.F Harding, Aaron Shedlock, James Joseph, and Jason Clarke were just being recorded as they hung out. It was a really fun aspect to the audiobook. They all nailed their character and some voice other characters too. Giving each their own voice. Shane East does drop in as a special appearance as Lucas Blackthorne and it is fabulous.
This full-cast really is a how-to on casting. Each voice actor is perfect for the character. The production is seamless.
I am so excited to see where this story goes next and what the voices actors bring to it.

Bring on Possession. I need it!

I’m in love with this series!

Want more now!

I just finished listening to book 2 of The Mate Games and I can’t wait for more of this amazing adventure to continue. There’s so much more happening now. More evil surrounding Sunday and her men. More questions that need answers and tons of devious things about, that really kept me enchanted with hearing more about all of these characters. Heart stopping incidents where someone gets injured. More sensual sexy times with all of the guys. Mated now to missing vampire Noah, also mated to Alpha shifter Kingston, as well as finally sharing herself with Demi-God Alek and even Father Gallagher you would believe that all should be amazing for Sunday but there is so much amiss and we’re on pins and needles while we wait for the next book to come out.

I’m in awe of the suspenseful adventure that this series has, especially listening to the audiobook version complete with this amazing cast including Stella Hunter. JF Harding, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, Jason Clarke as well as Shane East. How can anyone not swoon over all these wonderful actors with an amazingly writing story.

Loved it and can't wait for more!

I loved this second book in The Mate Games series! This series must be devoured in order, and you're going to love every wild, wicked minute of it. But be warned - this is hot, spicy, and pushes all boundaries. The Mate Games is reverse harem in all it's naughty glory. K. Loraine and Meg Anne have written such an amazing world, and their characters have such personality, bravado, wit and charm.

I had such a crush on Kingston, poor rejected mate with a chip on his shoulder, just trying to win the affection of his one true love. Kingston wore his rejection like a suit of armor, and he was full of barbs and snarl. But I could tell that underneath all of that faux disdain was just a man looking for his love to be accepted so he could let his inner beast run wild. And boy does he do that here in Rejection!

Noah is back, as is Alec, and Caleb, and these four extraordinary beings take care of our girl, Sunday. They're working to not only make Sunday's naughtiest dreams come true, but they're also working overtime to keep her safe as external forces seem bound and determined to take her down.

The narration is, as expected with this cast, simply stunning. I love full cast audio, and this narration team is amazing. Stella Hunter, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Aaron Shedlock and Jason Clarke are so much more than narrators. These books do not get read to you. They get brought to life by this cast.

I can't wait for more!

Forbidden, sinful, obsessive and full of steam!

This is the second book in the series, please read the first one Obsession before you get to this one. The Mate Games series continues, with our beloved characters, Sunday, Kingstone, Alek, Caleb and Thorne will have you on edge from start until the end. Sunday's story continues to develop, she finds more than she could ever imagine. Each of the guys has something special and also mysteries you need to discover. Each chapter, each scene is a full roller-coaster ride, it's steamy, and it's not for the faint of heart as the authors have warned.

The audiobook is narrated by Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Shane East. It's fantastic and the best way to enjoy this series, if you enjoy audiobooks you need to listen to this series, it's sinful if you don't as each narrator took their characters to the next level, the performance is fantastic, their voices will entice you with each minute and the story will have you wanting more. Now I need the next one, brilliant 5-stars!

P.S. They are all MINE!

Absolutely Brilliant & Mesmerizing! Amazing 🎧📚🎧

Rejected or not, I am still obsessed with this series, if you have not started it yet, what are you waiting for, the first book is available for your listening pleasure now, I highly recommend the audio edition because the multi-cast of talent bring the characters and story to life in the most spectacular of ways. Meg Anne and K. Loraine continue to work their magic together and they even turned up the heat for their second book of the Mate Games series. “Rejection” picks up soon after the first book ended and we get more of Kingston’s story and I will say that cocky alpha-hole redeems himself in this book, sure he still has that alpha-dude going but not to Sunday, so yeah in my eyes he is redeemed and super hot. Sunday’s wolf finally awakens but that is not the only thing that does. Father Caleb Gallagher is as tormented as ever, in is position as a Priest and a man when it comes to Sunday. He knows a lot more of what is coming into play, but he has not shared that info yet, with Sunday or any of her harem and now he has another dilemma to deal with and to protect Sunday and her secret for as long as possible. The evil is still coming for Sunday, her mates are very protective and will protect at all costs and in the end it cost her greatly. The world building and character development and growth is continual and phenomenal. Sunday is coming into her own, braver and more confident each day, Kingston grew a lot too, Noah did as well, even stood up to his family, and then there is Caleb who shall or shall not give into temptation and last but not least Alek, the one who comes and saves the day and wow, talk about mind blow, yeah, just wow. Shout out to Moira, love that girl and can’t get enough of her and her snark and wit. Once again, I just loved how everything played out in this brilliantly plotted paranormal reverse harem romance, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and smoking hotter than hades romance and sexy times. Meg Anne and K. Loraine, thank you for another amazing story and wild and thrilling ride.

🎧📚🎧 The amazing lineup of talent continues to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing the characters and their story to life. The quality of the audio is top-notch, as are all the wonderfully entertaining narrators. You could not ask for a better multi-cast of narrators, Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Stella Hunter, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock, and Shane East are fabulous at what they do and I love how they take their role, run with it and make it their own, sounding believable and just as I picture the character to sound. J. F Harding is killing it as Kingston, besides nailing his alphatude he grasped his softer side with perfection, Jason Clarke continues to show Calebs turmoil and tortured soul, as well as his other sides, Aaron Shedlock as a Norse God gone wild, whoa, down boy, down, he also gave us some side characters and swoon worthy performances, James Joseph continues to nail it in his role as well. The queen of the show is Stella Hunter, and she continues to kill as Sunday, grasping her badassery with perfection, her Moira is amazing too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. This multi-cast narration is a pleasure to listen to, and it enhances this brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

I’m in love

It’s official: I’m in love. I know, it’s a reverse harem, so the main interest is that the heroine has multiple lovers. But we can have preferences, right? And mine is Kingston. So, of course, I was excited to read his book–well, the other characters are here too, but it’s the book where Sunday chooses him as a love interest too. And I wasn’t disappointed.

As he showed in the previous book, he’s a lost little boy who’d had his heart broken and who didn’t know how to deal with it. We see less of the bully he’s become though, and more of the lovesick puppy. Literally, since he’s a werewolf! He’s a key character in Sunday’s arc too, as he’s the one who pushes her wolf to come forward. Because of their similar nature, and because of the feelings they shared all this time while keeping them a secret, when they finally meet for real, and get together, it’s hot!

In this book, Kingston isn’t Sunday’s only lover, and she has some alone time with other characters. Basically, with all her love interests. Together. Yes, you read it right! The previous book was steamy–this one will melt your insides.

And that’s because Sunday’s starting to understand who she is, and accepts it. And her urges. As in a true coming of age story, she’s growing into her own skin. And it isn’t an easy fit, as the revelations… I mean, without spoiling the story, there were a couple of interesting twists. The hint we got at the end of the previous book at a bigger story, one that could change the world, isn’t a hint anymore. Expect secret society, prophecies, the whole shebang.

And fights. This book is a bit more violent and gory than the previous one. I didn’t mind at all. My only complaint is that, clearly, the adults of the school are terrible at keeping their students alive. It’s puzzling that they don’t simply close the school and send the kids back home. Oh well. At least we get some exciting fights.

Thanks to the amazing cast, it’s definitely a book worth listening to. Once again, each narrator embodies their character perfectly. Special mention to Kingston’s narrator who blew my mind. I told you, I’m in love.

Jesus Wept, It was EXPLOSIVE

There is only one word that I can come up with to describe Rejection ; explosive! If you found yourself obsessed with a vampire prince and priest, an alpha werewolf, and a Thor-like demigod after Obsession , get ready for those sexy men to kick it up a notch.. well, maybe more than a notch. Rejection will light your e-reader or earbuds on fire!!!

Meg Anne and K. Loraine set the bar with the first book of The Mate Games but now they have upped the ante. Sunday Fallon has a whole new list of things going for her besides being the fated of not just one man, but multiple. Now there are demons and hunters on the hunt for her but why? Is there something about her that she doesn't know? Can she really, truly trust the men who claim to love her to keep her safe?

In this book, we get more from the bully alpha wolf, Kingston. When we first met him, he was a man with a broken heart taking it out on everyone around him. Now, we get to see a whole different side to him. He is completely in love and devoted to his mate, in other words, he's like a lovesick puppy. But he is not Sunday's only lover in the book. Kingston, comes to terms with the idea of her having more than one man in her bed.

You're in for a treat with this audiobook. The fun and witty banter between Noah, Kingston, Alek, and Caleb is a delight. In book 1, they seemed at odds with each other fighting for the attention of Sunday. Now, their banter is that of friends coming together to protect what they all have in common; Sunday. J.F. Harding was the star of this narration. His work on this book was a thing beauty and made me fall in love with Kingston a whole hell of lot more. He was every bit the badass alpha ready to claim his mate and take over his pack. Jason Clarke as Father Gallagher... "Jesus wept". Enough said, he is simply down right sinful. Stella Hunter was as amazing as ever, bring the growing strength and confidence of Sunday Fallon alive. We don't get as much of James Joseph and Aaron Shedlock in this book, but they are smooth, protective, and dominating in all the right ways. There may even been some cameo appearances from some of your favorite characters from Meg Anne and K. Loraine's previous work and one Shane East.

Hot, Sexy, and Intriguing PNR RH! 🖤

Holy, Hot Damn and Jesus wept… I think I will say this with each of The Mate Game Series books but, they just keep getting better, hotter, more intense, kinkier, more action packed! Rejection is book 2, and I am so hooked and vested into the series. Kim Loraine and Meg Anne are creating an amazing supernatural world that I would love to be in! Rejection goes further into Sunday’s relationships with her bully wolf mate, Kingston. I love getting to know a little bit more of their backstory. She feels like she’s home with him, I loved their banter, and oh my.. those sex scenes! We also get to know more of Alek, the Nordic demigod who she feels is her superpower. I love getting to hear Alek’s character play out more. Noah who she feels is her “peace”, her Vampire Prince, oh how I just love him! And Caleb… well….let’s just say a certain scene made my toes curl and my breathing heavy! This has so much action and such intensity between Sunday and her mates. Kim and Meg are just fabulous making these characters so compelling, and the kink level is so high on this one! Hello hot as sin ménage that will live rent free in my mind for a very long time!
This is multicast duet narration with Stella Hunter, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Aaron Shedlock, Jason Clarke, and featuring Shane East.
Stella Hunter slays me again in her performance as Sunday. This time around I love that her character went through so many emotional changes. Stella makes you feel each and every one of them with her. J.F. Harding.. well he just blew me away with this book! He played the cocky, self-assured , “eager to please”, sexy as all hell bully wolf to perfection. I can’t get enough of Kingston and Jake… He has my heart now and J.F. just brings him to life perfectly. James Joseph did a fabulous job of really making my heart ache for this Vampire Prince. He pulled all the feels out of me. Aaron Sherlock, The Viking Demi God, Alek, had more dialogue, and we find out about this warrior. Aaron absolutely killed it. His smooth and sexy voice for Alek was heart racing. Jason Clarke once again got to me with Father Caleb, and his kinky, voyeuristic ways. His Irish brogue made me tingle all over. This character I am really into, and can’t wait to see how everything will play out.
I can’t say enough great things about this book! It’s a super sexy, kinky, intense, lovely PNR Reverse Harem of pure gold, that no one should miss!

The heat is on!!

In this second book of The Mate Games series, Ravenscroft is under attack by demons and the ultimate target is Sunday Fallon. She’s solidified her bonds with her men, but will they be able to protect her? Who could be summoning these demons and why?

We thought Obsession was hot, but Rejection raises the heat level to an inferno! If the final two books get any steamier I don’t know how we’ll make it out of this series without spontaneously combusting! I almost want to beg Kim and Meg for mercy, but on the other hand I’m also saying, “Bring it on!”

There are also some big info bombs dropped that have my book bestie and me conjuring theories about what’s to come. This story arc is getting darker and more twisty but balanced with lots of side-character humor (Moira!), dick euphemisms (#GodRod), and sneaky pop culture easter eggs (loved the timing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show one). Kim and Meg have cast an unbreakable spell on us at this point. Whether we all make it through remains to be seen.

Stella Hunter, J. F. Harding, James Joseph, Aaron Shedlock and Jason Clarke return as Sunday and her mates. All were hot as hellfire in the spicy scenes, but they also delivered on their characters’ growth. Stella was fierce as Sunday’s strength grew after discovering her wolf. J. F. was charming as he showed Kingston’s lighter side. James shined as he delved deeper into Noah’s protective nature. Aaron was adorable giving us more of Alek’s cheeky wit and humor. Jason demonstrated Caleb’s deepening conflict and fraying resolve. Once again these narrators gave top-tier performances!

FREAKIN' KINGSTON!!

If you thought, you were obsessed with The Mate Games get ready for Rejection where everything is more! More obsession, more drama, and MORE HEAT!! Meg Anne and K. Loraine somehow upped the steam from book one from about an 8 to a 12 and let me tell you, my knickers were incinerated!!

Sunday rejected Kingston but the alpha wolf isn't going to sit back and take it. She is his. The fates have decided that she is made for him, and he won't let anyone get in his way.

On the very night Sunday seals her fate to the man she loves he disappears and there is a huge hole in her heart where Noah resides. With Noah's leaving and Sunday's emotions at all-time high events are set in motion that finally set her wolf free. In freeing her beast, she has also unlocked a part of herself that only Kingston can touch. Only he can relieve the ache that she is feeling.

As if a missing vampire mate and an alpha shifter aren't enough, she also has a Norse demi-god that she knows owns a part of her as well. The deliciously handsome Viking might not be able to mark her as his but that doesn't mean she isn't. Sunday is also caught in a web of dark desire with Father Gallagher, but he won't let her in. Every time she thinks he is about to admit his feelings his walls go up even higher. She can't survive without him anymore than she can survive without the others.

The audio gods were looking down upon us with this cast, cause seriously damn!! J.F. Harding done did the damn thing, though. He won this narration for me. He was every bit the alpha wolf I would have expected for a character like Kingston. If Father Gallagher was any sexier with that brogue someone would have to revive me. Jason Clarke melted my headphones with that voice, gah!! That is not all though, with Aaron Shedlock, Stella Hunter and James Joseph as well as a special appearance by Shane East this book is here for all your audible pleasures. Literally.

Evil is looming at Ravenscroft University and Sunday along with her mates have to find a way to keep her safe or risk starting something that no one alive can stop.

Possession book three in The Mate Games series is coming...

Sinfully delicious paranormal romance!!

Jesus wept…. Oh yeah, he did for this dark sinfully delicious paranormal romance! Rejection by K. Loraine and Meg Anne brilliantly continues the epic, spicy journey of Sunday Fallon and her hunky harem of “men” as they discover more about their fates, and battle deadly demons. This is book 2 in their Mate Games series, and whew…did these ladies continue to bring the “heat”! Rejection definitely did not disappoint, and left me needing more!

This audiobook is performed in multicast duet narration with Stella Hunter, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Aaron Shedlock, and Jason Clarke featuring Shane East. I loved how Stella portrayed Sunday’s blooming confidence, yet still conveyed her insecurities about discovering her identity. James showcased Noah’s undeniable possessive love for his “dove.” Alek’s unleashed warrior passion for his “Kærasta” was portrayed perfectly by Aaron. Plus, J.F. 's growly portrayal of confident cocky lovable Kingston made me laugh and swoon for his “Sunshine.” Bless Father Caleb and his tainted tormented conflicted emotions for his “a stor” which was performed once again in a delectable Irish accent by Jason. This cast continues to blow me away with their blazing performances.

Overall, I LOVED this audiobook! If you are a fan of paranormal reverse harem series with a fierce saucy heroine, four hot mouthwatering men who know how to satisfy the heat, secrets uncovered, running with wolves, ménages, voyeurism, visions, demon attacks, forbidden steamy times, family involvement, spicy fantasies at Iniquity, suspenseful action, betrayal, and an unexpected mind-shattering ending that will leave you wanting and thirsty for more, then you need Rejection on your life! Ladies, you have my attention, and I am so excited for Possession next!

Good Book 2

Even though I continue to dislike Sunday (the spoiled obnoxious brat), the book is full of action, laughs, and intrigue. All of the narrators did a fantastic job with characters. On to the next book.

this narration is giving me life!

this is my first full cast audio narration and it has completely blown me away.

firstly, I'm normally not one for series as I get easily distracted. No matter how good the story is, I'm more of a standalone gal. That being said, since I picked up the first audio book in this series, I'm already deep into the next book (#3) and pre ordered the 4th. . The story is good. It really is, but honestly I can't say I'd be as hooked had i not been listening to it.
I did first read the first 2 books, then randomly went back and picked up the audio and it felt like a whole new world.

fun fact, while reading this series, Caleb had been my fav of the 4, but listening to the actor portray Kingston giving me Dean Winchester vibes ALL DAY LONG, easily took that spot.

I'm so glad audio books are giving a platform to such really good talent whom may have otherwise been overlooked by traditional forms of entertainment.

Heat dialed up

Rejection, book two in The Mate Games series, is Kingston's book, but it was Daddy Caleb that had my attention. Sunday will continue to make these men yield to her. The intensity and suspense increase, as do the steam and sexy times.

Once again, the narration is stellar, and the narrators do a superb job bringing these characters to life.
