A Well-Informed Book For Guardian

This book is very beneficial! The author explained everything very nicely for parents to understand how to handle their child who has Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Because many children suffer from ADHD and some parents are unaware of this, it's crucial to know the symptoms and understand how to manage this condition. Teachers and parents must listen to this novel because sometimes they think their child is misbehaving because of bad company, the actual reason behind this behaviour is ADHD.

A Different Ability

I love the author’s personal perspective and approach. This book provides all the tools needed to help a parent navigate raising a ADHD child. I really appreciated the focus on the positive, i.e., their humor, compassion, and kindness, to emphasize their strengths, as well as the many non-medicated strategies from exercise to bio- feedback. The parent of an ADHD child will definitely benefit from the knowledge, experience, and tools found in this book. Highly recommended!

Must-have for Parents and Teachers

This book was fantastic! It contains incredibly beautiful advice for parents whose child has ADHD. This book is ideal for understanding how children with ADHD have no control over their disease and are constantly trying to behave well and normally, but their disease prevents them from doing so. It is a must-have for all parents and teachers who want to understand their children and students.

Help Your Child Flourish

I can see this book helping many parents to better understand their children. After reading this audiobook parents will be better equipped with tools that will set their children up for success. I have noticed myself that many people assume children with ADHD are disobedient or “bad kids”. I’m glad that the author clarified this assumption, and mentioned that children with this disorder are trying their best, and the disorder is out of their control. Overall, I have learned a lot from this book and would strongly recommend it.

A definite must have for parents!

This book is absolutely amazing. As a teacher I wanted to understand this diagnosis better to service my students. The book provides much more than the normal surface level literature available online and in teaching text. A real insight into the uniqueness of each child’s condition. I found the chapter on medication particularly insightful and how CBT is much more effective and safe, each chapter was very detailed and progressive. A definite must have for parents.

Parents need this!!

Throughout this book, the author does an amazing job helping the listener understand the brain of their ADHD child, and also the different types that can manifest. What I found really helpful was the discussion of relieving parental guilt after receiving a diagnosis and throughout everyday life. My favorite part of this book was the last chapter discussing daily routines because I was able to get a ton of ideas to support routines for your child.
