Summary

Matched to the wrong alien...

Georgia wanted a prince, not a massive brute. When a clerical error lands her on a backwater planet with only anti-social Talen for company, she knows there’s been a mistake. The agency says it will take months to fix, but the more time she spends with Talen, learning about his surprising hidden depths and surrendering to his sensual embrace, the more she wonders if Celestial Mates was wrong, after all.

Talen lives for his books...and his family. So, when his brother’s latest scheme delivers a human female to his door, he refuses to turn her away. She’s part of his pride now, and her luscious form and biting wit are vital to his future. He’ll win her heart and convince her that no matter how they were brought together, she’s the only one for him.

Listen to Pulled by the Tail for a happily ever after that includes a flock of cat-peacocks, plenty of steam, babies, and more!

A very good story, well narrated

After reading the first book of this series I was very happy also about this second one, Then, I received this audio book and I was twice as happy. The plot has some classic themes, revised to fit in a future time of space travelling humans and aliens, but it also has unexpected turns. Nothing is oversimplified, but there's nothing hard to read either, as the writing is fluent and brilliant, with many fun parts. I've especially appreciated the rich personality given to the main characters and some of the secondary ones too. It took me some time to get used to the narrator's voice (that's partly because of me giving the hero a British accent in my head during my first reading, but this narrator's voice type is also one I associate with old movies, for reasons jet unknown.) Anyway, I had no problem following the dialogues and knowing who was speaking, so after a while I forgot all about the British -ok, more Italscottish or Scottitalian- voices in my head and fully enjoyed the listening.
