Summary

Steven Hawk have written a story true to his warrior nature. A story told from a soldiers POV with the right mix of action, humanity and mystery. A full pact action book.

The story of a 600 year old soldier brought back
It's just quirky enough to be a very interesting listen. The narrator doesn't have to much of a range of Voices, but his Grant Justice could pass as Early Nightingale.

There is a Time For Violence
This book has a heavy focus on what a pacifists dream would do to our world. Sure it would bring about some good. But it would also introduce some issues. This book takes a pretty good look at a warriors point of view in a pacifists world and the problems they have created for themselves.
Narration fit the story well. Started off slow and easy and just kept plodding along. This action packed adventure is not an edge of your seat thrill ride. Instead it just keeps you going and wondering what is next. I can easily recommend this book.

This is a very good sci-fi book! The author wrote an excellent story and the narrator was fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of reading this book.

Constant Attention Grabbers! Absolutely Loved!
What made the experience of listening to Peace Warrior the most enjoyable?
I consistantly was wanting to know what was happening next. I never became bored listening.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Peace Warrior?
When Grant began to fall in love, and how he began to mature in what he believed in.
Which scene was your favorite?
Seeing violence prison unite to help bring peace. The most unlikely people have the most memorable roles.

It Passed the Time
I was looking for my next great listen and decided to give Peace Warrior a chance while I continued my search. It did the job. Yes, this is not a resounding endorsement. The story is straightforward, uncluttered with depth or complexity. Grant Justice is the ultimate warrior who dies in some future conflict. Some 600 years later he is revived to fight again. During the time before his reincarnation, Earth has become a pacifist's dream and so naturally, only a violent Justice can save the day. Will he save the day? Will he bring Earth's alien foe to it's knees? I'm giving nothing way in saying, "Yes, he will." The book entirely predictable, mostly due to conditions the author sets up in the story. A pacifist Earth doesn't need much of an alien presence and so not much is required to achieve victory. However, the narrator is well suited to the book's main character and so is a great help in making a mediocre work easy to listen to and so pass the time. (Would really like to give it 3.5 stars for an overall score . .)
