Excellent start

When Christine was 18 she was summoned by the king and told she was to marry someone who was more than 3 times her age but before that he was to test her out. Whilst assaulting her she managed to attack and kill him so the Queen took control and shipped her off out of the way . Prince Augustus never did forgive her for leaving so when she returns for the kings funeral he is spiteful towards her but she can’t tell him why she left yet. Fabulous start to this new series I can’t wait for the rest of them to be on audio , as usual Michael Gallagher was on pointe I enjoyed Heather Stonewell this is my first book by her .
